I can’t wait. To think for a whole 20 minutes they can question Curtis Taylor about what he actually does

Careful. I said that last year after the practice match against RMND and copped a bit of flack from people here who said he was the fittest bloke on the team. That was despite him heaving and leaning on his knees after almost every possession (and in the reserves game at that).Runs and looks puffed

Good one…. ironic hey…..I’m surprised the great scoop Xander isn’t reporting this
Apologies if this isn’t in the correct spot…but l though since it’s a media release place it here.
I find it disgusting that no one in AFL media land / sporting media is questioning where the money for the makeover came from…blind Freddy can see it’s from the women’s netball funding that they received…then promptly dumped the team. In my books the money should have been forfeited the moment they decided to cancel the women’s program. …but hey they’re the premiers and they deserve shiny new things…just don’t bother asking where the funding came from..Pathetic by the club and all media outlets…AFL included.
Imagine the outrage from all parts of the footballing media / public / general media if heavens forbid we did something like this…it would be pitchforks galore…the irony….
just plain wrong…
Tagged him in.I’m surprised the great scoop Xander isn’t reporting this
brilliant….the so called supporters can’t see anything wrong with this on X…..justifying it as well they were losing money so why keep em….neglecting the fact the refit was used with money gained from the netball program…money they didn’t have….will be interesting to see what comes of it…Tagged him in.
Brilliant post Passmore….how it started and ended….yet ’s from major media outlets ….just everyday normies highlighting it….it’s pathetic…
Add the fact that they are hiding any replies to the refit that mentions the netball team by their supporters…..and s from all media outlets… no wonder they think it’s all hunky dory nothing to see… but you know it’s all okay coz they will probably say women’s aflw team will get access….way to go hypocrites…They get their filthy mits on the government built Lexus centre, shafting Melbourne FC of an appropriate home base. Meanwhile abandoning the inner suburb of Collingwood and Victoria Park, that is left without much needed community infrastructure. Now they rob the cash out of their ladies defunct netball program. Dud club

how about the first half against the Go Dees!I get you Gasometer, but the funny thing is, last year we did improve, to the amount I thought we would. The only thing I got wrong was the wins. I thought we would win 4 games, maybe 5 at the most, and you know what, there were several games we should have won but for reasons I've already posted about, it didn't eventuate and that's why I'm very excited for this year.
At our stage of developing there is no way on gods green earth we should have played the way we did against Sydney, Carlton, Essendon, Collingwood and Gold Coast, [I could have missed one or two}. The two main games being Sydney, who the previous year played off in a grand final,{we pretty much cut them to ribbons, but for the unthinkable to happen} and Gold Coast who I tip to go very close to making the 8 this year and with their very good midfield, just let that sink in for a second, what we nearly did and what we ended up doing.
I know I've posted this before but that Gold Coast game is just off the charts, I was expecting quite a decent hammering against their midfield and ruck and other players and to half time that was what was happening. I thought with their bum up it might get out to a very crazy margin and really hoped we could play better in the second half and limit the damage. What we did to that team in the second half, a few words come to mind, implausible and unimaginable, and without our two best players, its starting to look scary doesn't it.
Remember this, Gold Coast are a very good team, slowly rising up the ladder, this year they will beat more teams than will beat them, its taken time but they are quite close to creating history for their club this year. Wins will mean improvement, what we're going to see this year is akin to seeing a UFO, people know there out there,{well most people} but until YOU see one your not going to believe. I have a funny feeling before this year is done, your hope & excitement and feverishness are going to go to anther level.
he could probably take them through his weights regime in that time! I reckon there is a stack of upside in this kid if he can put on a bit of size.I can’t wait. To think for a whole 20 minutes they can question Curtis Taylor about what he actually does
Agreed. But, not to sound overly harsh, if he hasn't put on any muscle yet, when is he planning to? 'Kid' is almost 24 now and out of contract this year. Tick bloody tock I would have thought.he could probably take them through his weights regime in that time! I reckon there is a stack of upside in this kid if he can put on a bit of size.
