Doesn't it become a disadvantage if you win some cheap games at your home ground, when you're not good enough to be a contender? It means that their draft picks will be slightly worse than they would otherwise be.

They don’t organise themselves like that. I flipping can’t stand em but you’ve gotta give credit where it’s due, honing in on Western District kids, or ones from down that way, is a pretty clever and sustainable plan.

If we got 9 this year, we would be pushing for finals in ‘25 and expected finalists in ‘26. It’s a conservative timeline for top 4 in ‘27.

I hope that we zoom up the ladder much quicker tbh.
