In a week we lost? Probably a week where 6 teams didn't play, and five of the losers were trash.

Feel free to delete if this is in the wrong spot or has little interest, but I saw Marc Randolph wearing a North Melbourne hat in his latest video. Netflix a next major sponsor perhaps? ;)

Woah we need to encourage this little interest.

Get Harry to send him a Shalom to take it up a notch.

I'd be shocked if a losing team ever had 5 in the team of the week.
Excellent point. I think I was overly happy that we had 5 in the team that I didn't even think of that.

From The Age today:

The contentious holding-the-ball interpretation has taken another turn, this time with the number of free kicks falling dramatically over the latest round of football.

Champion Data statistics show an average of 6.6 free kicks were paid for holding the ball through the six games of round 15, a tumble from an average of 10.8 over the previous three weeks after the AFL tightened the ruling encouraging umpires to more quickly penalise players.

The round 15 average was the lowest since round two, when an average of 4.8 holding-the-ball decisions were paid. The highest average was in round 12, when 11.6 holding-the-ball calls were made immediately after an AFL directive in late May.

Round 15 also had just five per cent of tackles lead to a holding-the-ball free kick – the lowest percentage of any round this year. There were 775 tackles laid, with only 39 leading to a holding-the-ball free kick. The previous lowest conversion of tackles to holding-the-ball free kicks had been in round two, when 5.1 per cent of tackles resulted in a free. There were 927 tackles in that full round of matches, with 47 leading to free kicks.

And if that bloke charged is a player agent I'm guessing his brother is a star and is currently injured.

There is an article about said agent on April 29 saying he is swapping to a rival management group.

He does not appear on either of their websites.

Edit: These are all assumptions and should not to be taken as fact.
Nothing more needs to be said.

It's pretty common knowledge now who the person is, they may as well just release his name officially.

Maybe it’s common knowledge in the minuscule dark corner of the internet called BigFooty where we AFL-obsessed nuffies congregate like seagulls outside a fish and chips shop hungry for morsels of football gossip and inside info.

But out in the real world, where the man in question is still close to a household name (in Melbourne at least), nobody knows anything.

Gag orders exist for a reason. Alleged victims and alleged perpetrators are entitled to natural justice and to have their day in court. If you have a media circus how can you ever find a jury that isn’t prejudiced by what they’ve already read and seen on the news?

If you want to see what that looks like, look at the Bruce Lehmann, Brittany Higgins shitshow where there were Logie Speeches and Prime Ministers apologising in Parliament and Channel 7 Spotlights etc. Lots of people disgraced themselves and the whole thing was a nightmare. Let the justice system play out for the sake of those involved.

I swear Ralphy reads North Melbourne BigFooty for story ideas. (Hi if you’re reading mate).

He has shit takes sometimes but for a Richmond man he weirdly seems to like us.

Love the irony of a little cheap shot on Butters for his cheap shots in a Xerri article.

Man it’s nice to read some good news stories about us.
