Last week I thought the boys played like they were always gonna win, which is why they lost. This week, I thought we played much better, but got beaten by a better team.

While Fremantle will be disappointed they'll be happy with that 3rd Quarter comeback, and Tarrent has added plenty to the forward line, so while I'm very happy with Essendon's win Fremantle at times played really well and could have got up but we were just wanted it more.

the thing i like is the fact Lloyd didn't do a huge amount but got his 4 goals anyway.. And what about Lovetts and Jetta's runs.. Beautiful

Despite wherever both teams are on the ladder going into the Ess - Carlton game, Carlton seem to always give us a run for our money.
I can't see us losing again to them. Our boys have something to prove next week.

Lovett was sensational today. I like the fact that the backline could have played even better IMO and we still knocked off another top 4 side, signs are looking good if nothing else

Good to hear one reasonable Dockers fan out there - i flew down for the game and many of your fans are anm embarassment. they don't know a free kick when they see one.

Dockers did well though - Pavlich and Tarrant might become a two pronged attack. I would not rip into the team too early - there is still 20 rounds to go. You need to win the Debry or you may be in trouble
