It would "appear" Geelong will win the premiership this season. What happened to the 'lid'? Your team's supporters' odiousness is unforgivable, but totally predictable. See, I remember the great dynasty you created in 1963, and we all know how that went. If you depend on appearances you'll be left with not thinking. You seem to be very good at that. It would also be good if you could continue your appalling display of being a bad loser. It fits the mould your club has developed.

But we must all remember that the brownlow medal will always be under criticism because it is subjective. The votes are cast by the umpires, who's personal view and perspective decides the results. Im pretty sure that they dont look at the stats or anything before they cast their votes.

It isnt objective thats for sure.

Seems a bit suss, but i think we all know who the best player in the league is - ablett. He can change a game in a minute, and he missed four rounds!!!!

Black always polls really well in Brownlows and was very surprising. I think Bartel's lack of votes means possessions aren't everything these days... though there were some games he didn't poll anything after 30+ possies. Gotta love the Richoman too!

Although he may not of been a matchwinner, you need players to fill in the gaps to. No team has 22 match winners.

Why did you refer to our players as 'mediocre'? I found it strange as someone who has watched the game since 1955 could have such terrible football knowledge.

yeh but thats not harveys fault, thats the stupid saint kilda management and drafting committy people who cant find four people with a brain bigger than a speck of sand to fill the rest of their team. The difference between st kildas best 4, and their worst 4 is huge.

Think about geelong, u cant really name one bad player? I mean theres young players who arent crash hot yet, but they will be with time.

Well Done Adam Cooney. Certainly not the worst winer of all time. Should be a dual or triple winner before his career is out. Cant beleive harvey and bartel didnt poll as good. If Ablett played every gamehe would have won.

Geelong fans need to harden the hell up. Ablett missed 4 games of footy, if he had played those games he would be a Brownlow Medalist. Thats life, deal with it.
Cooney had a excellent 1st half of the season but faded in the 2nd half. At the end of the day he got enough votes from the 1st half to get the job done with a couple good games in the 2nd half.
I wanted Richo to win but he was very unlucky, he had a pretty good game in rd 22 so i was expecting some sort of votes.

On another front, Channel 10 should be embarrased of that telecast, 1st of all they read out round 2 instead of round 1 and they also got Kate Cebrano to pull out a terrible rendition of Let Me Entertain You. They then had Michael Voss walk around in circles talking about Robert Harvey. No offence but its the Brownlow Medal, not the Robert Harvey Tribute Show. Yes he has won 2 of them but they spent 15 mins on it. We all respect and love him but the night is not about him.
