He does not live here.

No but I did for 12 years before I came here. Went to high school in Hoppers Crossing and lived in St Albans before i came over to Adelaide. Might be understating the 40minute drive, but its not that far.

I also lived spent 9 months in Tasmania last year...its 2 and half hours between Hobart and Launceston. If the damn road works are done. The distance argument would also work if we put an AFL team in Ballarat.

You certainly are. Went to the Geelong v Carlton game last two years. Lot longer than 40 minutes. Would lose my licence if I could do that.... ha ha

im saying geelong doesnt exist in isolation to Melbourne.

Reckon their sustainability is more to do with taking all the $'s from their home games at Kardinia.

Yep those road works have been a pain but the road has improved.....no doubt it would be used a lot if there were home games at both Launceston and Hobart. A team would unite the state.

The points posters are making on Tas having a team in the AFL are now becoming quite obscure.

I think my point in this instance is that using geelong as a comparison isnt really apropriate

Ignore the guy just rehashes the same things over and over again adds nothing new acts like an expert on every thing to do with Tasmania but its pretty obvious he has very little knowledge of the place makes ill informed posts!

Dont agree with The Wookie regularly but he doesnt make stuff up.
