How good is Rotham though. Got pace, good kick.

I know if I was a random club I'd be targetting him, good thing he's still contracted

Would do anything to sign him up for another 12 years though. Perfect replacement for Judd.
Would need to be seeing a future third coming back our way as a sweetener before I’d consider giving him up

Hawks would get better value just handing you Brockman. I’d take the empty list spot over Rotham.

Dear god his name really is ROTham… His name says it all ROT. This poor guy! 😂
Unfortunately the deal's been done, I heard from a source close to the club that our list manager even said full stop, no returns at the end of negotiations....so I guess you're stuck with him.

Hawks aren’t trading in another half back flanker. There’s been talk of trading one out as we have to many.

We have one of our own whom we can’t fit in and as a result of that fact, we too have mismanaged him in my opinion . One Denver Grainger Barrass.

If he can get his fitness levels up, he’d be going along nicely on a HBF.

Rough Head.
HARDwick.
KoSCHITzke.

Etc.

Mate, Rotham is not a hbf, he could be the second coming of Brian Lake for you and hold down full back in your next grand final team!
You'd be stupid not to do this trade. You can completely, 100% trust me.

DGB is a bust and the Hawks know it. Been shopping him around past two trade periods with little interest.

Apart from Jaith who seems to be injured alot, Rotham would be as good as anything else Hawks have at half back, probably better.

Our All Australian James Sicily and Jack Scrimshaw to name a couple.

Sisily is out every 2nd week suspended.

And Hawks fans keep mentioning Scrimshaw but apart from a couple of decent games and flashes hasnt done that much.

And neither of those guys can ruck.

So Rotham is much more flexible, can pkay forward too.
We’re good thanks.

Scrimshaws a weapon, just finding new gears in 2023.

Sis was pretty well behaved in 2023. Throw in Hardwick and our backs are good.

Really need a CHB. A classy mid and another forward like Rioli.

Actually mate, I'm not sure if you saw your learned colleague's post but he's a ready made KPD.

And he won the 2021 Grand Final sprint.

Show the man some respect.

I wouldn't, I'd hate to see him tearing it up for the hawks.

That's because I'm probably the only one who is somewhat bullish on him - I think he has the tools to be b22.
I just think we have mismanaged him.
The game against the Dogs showed what he can do when he takes the game on and moves the ball quicker. I think he’s been one of the bigger victims of our shite gameplan and it’s stunted his attacking flair.

Would love to see him in a more attacking role or up on the wing because he has all the skills and athletic traits to do well, it’s just all in between the ears.

Between the ears.

AND our shite game plan.

And covid.

And our injuries.

Id swap him for Brockman and the Hawks should be happy with that. Both fringe players with potential.
