I think most posts are meant to be harmless, but I can understand what you mean when I wince at some of the personal comments aimed at a particular person.

With the Clokes, in time the Coughlan choice may prove to be totally inspired if one or two of them end up at Richmond where they belong anyway.

OK, I take it back.
There's nothing much good natured. :D

Keep on dreaming Evo god, blind freddy can see that Travis Cloke will play with his two brothers. I have seen an interview where they said that their dream is to all play together. Now unless Richmond are going to do a deal to see the two Clokes already at Collingwood, swap clubs at years end Travis WILL be a Pie. FACT.

No, Richmond had their chance, all as they had to do is go hard for Jason, and the rest would of been theirs but they didn't, so stop dreaming of this 7ft Cloke wearing the Black and Yellow, because it aint happening.

What about a comparison between Coughlan and Chris Judd given that the WCE could've and should've had them both??

No problems with taking Daniel Kerr instead. A fine acquisition.

I heard that David Cloke was unhappy with the way Jason was used in the grand final and Malthouse's derogatory comments afterwards. I believe that the Tigers have been talking to Travis and remember we can claim him under the father/son rule too.

Don't count your chickens yet:p

.

My wife works with Jason Clokes girlfriend, and he was very upset about what MM said about him after the Grand Final. Since then MM has ensured Clokey that he is very much a respected player at the club, and that in the heat of the moment things were said, "By both sides" mind you, and all is forgiven and forgotten now. David Cloke was at first unhappy with the resolution, and since that time MM has had a discussion with David, and cleared everything up. Richmond approached Jason in the trade period, and offered him a contract. Jason considered that contract, and rejected it. Jason would like to play along side Cameron, who also is at the club, and is looking forward to Travis joining them next year. Cameron WILL play senior this year, and alot of it. (Injury excepting). He has been training the house down, and is very quick, for his size.

That is just cr@p Yze Magic, if you honestly believe that, you have convince me that when it comes to giving a INFORMED and unbiased, assesment on players, you haven't got that ability. Collingwood have made the past two Grand Finals, and Jason Cloke has been a required member of both sides. Come to think of it, the mentality you show mimicks your teams stupidity when getting rid of Woewodin for a first round pick.

Coughlan now by far, but we shall see.
This post title should of read "I'm a poor little tigers supporter and I'm trying to boost my self confidence by bringing up an debate that's been done to death, knowing what everyone will think"

Looking at this from a Richmond POV, we are often having to defend ourselves from often derisive comments about us choosing to pass on a son of a club legend as we didn't feel he was worth a second round draft pick.

So if we also see some affirmative threads about the same issue, the I am all for them. Especially ones like this that remind any who may have forgotten that it was Coughlan who Richmond took with the pick that would otherwise have to have been surrendered for Cloke.

So you've given up on Travis?

David, Jason and Cameron. $10 says the old man is "ruck coach" within 5 years.

Reply to Patrick Bateman message

The Clokes are not vying for the same spot. Jason Cloke is a third tall defender, similar to Archer and Soloman, Cameron is a Key forward like Johnathan Brown and Anthony Rocca, and Travis Cloke is a giant Ruckman, like Steven King, and Michael Gardiner.

Not saying they will turn our that way, just a similar TYPE of player.

Malthouse is more than capable of coping with ugly parent syndrome. T Cloke will be at Collingwood, if we want him. I still wonder how we could fit all three in the one side, but from what I hear its Cameron of the three that we wouldn't want.

He was MIA in one game - he had a few mates that day. Played ok in the other finals.

Played finals - thats the important bit - I didn't see your team improve after dumping him!!
