Did i hear that right?

paraphrasing Dalton "yes Ben was tested yesterday"

and then

"he will be allowed back to the club when he is in a condition to do so"

The entire team was tested yesterday and it takes quite a while to get a disinctive positive test.

After all the other off-field crap that the E-girls have had to deal with over the last 12-18 months, and all the flak they've copped (quite rightfully, too, IMHO) for NOT being seen to send strong signals to the playing group that off-field crap, and breaking team rules, will not be tolerated, it's good to see that they've FINALLY developed some sort of backbone and suspended Cousins indefinitely.

Let's see just how long the suspension lasts!

Yes at least the club has finally realised its time.

Good on them it would have been easy to invent an injury

Suspended from training.

No explantion.

dalton ducling and weaving like a prize fighter

Everyone was saying how WC had to be tougher on their players, isnt that what they are doing?

It may seem over the top but Ben has had many chances and has reoffended on numerous occasions. He has received many warnings. He missed 2 training sessions while on his final warning, I think this is a reasonable penalty.

What would people be saying if he missed 2 sessions and WC did nothing?

Lose-lose situation for the club.

They are going in hard to clear this issue up. Each player has received official warnings from the CEO and President individually. They also copped one of the biggest blasts from the CEO ever seen in the game (according to a seasoned club official).

Each player was well aware of what was on the line if they cocked up, the worst offender cocked up so he gets a harsh penatly.
