Ben has a number of private and personal issues he needs to deal with. Over the last few weeks these issues have become public. Was asked if they were drug related and they declined to comment but its a sad day for West Coast when one of the champions is suspended.

Club believes he has breached his contract and that is the reason he has been suspended.

Ben has not given any explanation why he didnt turn up to training.

We do not know why he didnt attend training there was a breach of team rules and thats why we decided to take actiion

After all the other off-field crap that the E-girls have had to deal with over the last 12-18 months, and all the flak they've copped (quite rightfully, too, IMHO) for NOT being seen to send strong signals to the playing group that off-field crap, and breaking team rules, will not be tolerated, it's good to see that they've FINALLY developed some sort of backbone and suspended Cousins indefinitely.

Let's see just how long the suspension lasts!
