Lol. Imagine how those people would have fared in times of actual hardship, like war. Not checking in is 100% on the selfishness of the individual.

Even for you this is laying it on a bit thick.
In seriousness it's a fine line these q codes. On the one hand they help with contact tracking, on the other hand 400 people being placed into forced quarantine is a pretty big deal. Is all of that necessary when we are opening up in a few days anyway?

I have already seen:
1. Covid denial
2. encouraging unlawful activity.
3. attacking our WA elected leader who is doing a job to protect WA public.

When we open up and 400+ people get put into hospital will you be advocating as hard for their welfare?

This isn’t an issue. I could do without the embarrassing name calling and unbelievably over the top woe is me historical stuff, but nobody is going to get infracted for not liking a particular politician, as long as they’re not being a total campaigner about it.

Speaking from the SA experience, everyone I know is vaccinated and more concerned about being forced into isolation as a close contact than they are about actually contracting Covid.
Not trying to antagonise, genuinely interested in your reaction to this mate:

Why was the mandate extended to three shots and the time between second and third shots reduced from six months to four months you might ask?

In the article in question, researchers from the Imperial College London COVID-19 response team found that vaccine effectiveness against omicron is between zero and 20 percent for those who have been fully vaccinated with two doses of vaccine. That effectiveness range, zero to 20 percent, may sound dismal. But for those who also received a booster shot, the findings for vaccine effectiveness against omicron were much, much rosier.

Specifically, those who had received three shots — meaning the two-dose vaccination plus a booster shot — saw a vaccine effectiveness of between 55 percent and 80 percent against the omicron variant.

The vast gulf between the two ranges suggests that a booster shot is crucial to protection against the omicron variant.

Genuinely interested why people who don't care enough about the health of others to use a check in app to contain the spread of a deadly disease suddenly care about others being asked to stay at home for a couple of weeks to prevent the spread of said disease...

A friendly reminder:

"Death due to COVID-19 parties could lead to manslaughter charges, experts warn"

Just a tip, if I had to do it again (and lets face it, we'll probably need another booster later in the year) I would have taken panadol earlier than I did.
Will do.

I had no side effects from the first two jabs apart from slight irritation at the jab site.

The wife on the other hand had to stay in hospital overnight a day after her second jab.
