Do you know that (a) they use lots of butter and cream and that (b) Pendles played basketball?
That is precisely why the sauces are awesome!

I must disagree with you here j. Gratin dauphinoise, duck a l'orange, good steak with pepper sauce, and cassoulet are all brilliant! That's not even getting to dessert, cheese and smallgoods like pate.I risk coming across as "caveman-like" as Swipey does when he refers to all mens fragrance as cologne, but French cuisine in general doesn't excite me.
The best I've had is Robechon's in Paris but for €700 (yes, Euro) to feed a family of 4 in 2013, you'd rightfully expect something half-decent. The family could have enjoyed 40 of the finest wood-fired Capricciosas for that amount of moolah.
French cafes do meat and veg so well.Yikes!
I love good French bistro food, when well done it’s the best. No elaborate sauces, but beautifully prepared veggies, and maybe a steak or fish.
The food we had at Entrecôte was not this.
Hey, today I designed a new screening form in Microsoft forms and applied conditional formatting to the Excel Spreadsheet that collates the responses to highlight the wrong answers in red. Pretty happy with myself, didn't need Google.View attachment 1418907
And since we're on to all things geek... I needed to use a few simple pivot tables in Excel and had to google the sh*t. I no longer have IT.

Is that duck related to Kirk Lorange, guitarist in Richard Clapton's band?I must disagree with you here j. Gratin dauphinoise, duck a l'orange, good steak with pepper sauce, and cassoulet are all brilliant! That's not even getting to dessert, cheese and smallgoods like pate.
Rinse your mouth out xx
It's his nickname. He is really good at milking high contact frees. Is that duck related to Kirk Lorange, guitarist in Richard Clapton's band?
SoO does have its downside. Not a massive NRL fan, but Melbourne Storm have lost Coates for weeks now. I didn't know who he was before last night. I didn't know he was a Melbourne Storm player until after that injury. But I am still outraged at the injustice of it all.went to State of Origin last night
from sport we learn many things
my big takeaway is that a silky blue wig can look very attractive on olive-skinned women
less importantly, State of Origin provides an emotional peak for players and supporters of teams that rarely play in finals
I doubt we will re-establish AFL Origin to its earlier passionate times, but it did produce some great highlights
one highlight for me was watching Lockett, Dunstall, and Dermie (f*ck spellcheck 5 goes at inserting his surname) dominating in same game (Ablett injured)
also Ablett kicking 8 after handful of Geelong games but Teddy selected him
it was an innocent time, when Stephen Kernahan could be admired as a footballer and mullet before he joined The Filth

And I reckon they would cause far more damage in a restaurant punch-up (which would actually happen in the Bistro of a Leagues Club).Rugby league players better shrug off injuries
Eg standard hamstring injury
NRL
minor grimace keep sprinting for tryline
AFL
3 weeks out
Collingwood

Just say no to vegetables.Had some tradespeople here yesterday, attaching solar panels for a sun that may never shine again.
I could see them admiring the vegie beds, but not all 8 of them. Their eyes were drawn to the first two, the ones nearest their labours, the ones with lettuce.
It wasn't easy, but I kept watch my of the night. No lettuce was disturbed. Maybe a slug or two, but my partner likes to go out there with a torch in the evening and pick those off, cruelly flicking them onto the gravel and squashing them. She's kinda hot.
We might have more worries ahead, all of us. The cost to supply chains will only increase, now coming for our greenery, but what will be next? Tomato? Capsicum?
Armageddon awaits. Keep one arm holding onto loved ones, the other clinging to a shotgun.
Just say no to vegetables.
I'm not manly enough for that option. Not sure I ever was, certainly not now.
Let's face it - all the best vegetables are really fruit. If you can save the thread from falling into the 2nd page, you can say no to lettuce.
You've got this.
The idea of a garden bed appeals. I'm going to plant tomatoes this year because nothing tastes like homegrown. Lettuce, I DGAF about.
Hugs X
After your ludicrous anti-French comment yesterday, you have a food credibility problem. You need to spend some time in the corner with your shine box.If you can save the thread from falling into the 2nd page, you can say no to lettuce.
