Been a horrible few days for me. One of our dogs passed away after she got bitten by a snake. :disrelieved: Then found out I have Covid today. Lets just say I feel like absolute s**t.
Sorry for the loss of your dog. Must have been really tough to go through, let alone get covid to add to your woes. You must be unlucky with the covid as I never hear of anyone catching it now, and very few people seem to take any precautions. Hope the recovery is quick. You deserve a break.

Heaps of Covid around at the moment in Aus. In just the last month my sister and granddaughter have both had it, plus two friends. But anecdotally - and according to them - they are not very sick with it this time.

The local Woolworths has even taken it's screens down at the cash registers. As to severity of symptoms, I know from experience that the virus comes in all shapes and sizes - some have it easy while others are badly afflicted.

We're in the middle of another COVID wave. We had lots out last week at work. Probably lots more would have been if we tested like we did two years ago.

This is what I would consider exposure therapy for you. If you can read the below without suffering a twitch attack, we're making progress.

I can't stand those apologists for the unconvinced. Their apologies are unconvincing.

Why invest in a milkshake machine that is unconvinced?

I would only buy a milkshake machine that is committed to high performance which would spare me the embarrassment of being an apologist.

Not sure but the way the language has been mangled, I strongly suspect it was.
I heard some AFL media commentators were on holiday and were asked to help with some English - they said "sure, we can help, we are in the media in Melbourne so we know our stuff - we'll get it right for you"

Quite a satisfying outcome. The funniest bit is that, as far as golf clubs go, Portsea GC is not particularly exclusive and they are looking to grow their membership.
