An exquisite pizza is all about doing the basics exceedingly well.
Would it not break your heart to flick Golden Circle's finest on the masterpiece below? Can you not see the crime?

It's a mess.Looks revolting
Impressive. I usually find the stamina of pineapple hating calfless ones to be a little, shall we say, disappointing.I. Can. Do. This. All. Day
Don’t think it would be the longest, but it’s certainly legendary. Not all positive by any means, but genuine and at times, very funny. At others very sad and frustrating.A genuine question, more aimed at mods, as they may have capability to easily ascertain.
Is this the longest thread measured in the number of posts across AFL bigfooty?
Decent pizza is almost always wood fired. It’s not just pineapple which ruins pizzas, but cheap ham, pre-cut olives, mozzarella which is bought pre-grated and tastes like rubber. How many times have I struggled through a poorly made pizza? One of the great dishes of the world, brought down by crap ingredients. It’s a travesty what can happen to this magnificent dish.
Far greater crime than pineapple going on there. An exquisite pizza is all about doing the basics exceedingly well.

Talking of Australian pizza - bbq lamb on pizza is a culinary travesty IMO. Pizza d'ASPORTO is to be commended for NOT having lamb on their Australian pizzaHere is a link to d’ASPORTO in Yarraville. Decent pizza right next to the Sun Theatre.
Yarraville Menu - Pizza d'ASPORTO
MENU "We hero all the authentic flavours and ingredients from our roots in southern Italy, offering only the highest quality, freshest, seasonal produce, sourced globally." Our pizzas, like all our dishes are artisan made. After all, Italians live life through their hands...pizzadasporto.com.au
No pineapple in sight.
FFS, not even the Australian pizza has pineapple.
I thought MasterChef and "hero of the dish" was bad enough, but this Yarraville mob hare using it as a verb.Talking of Australian pizza - bbq lamb on pizza is a culinary travesty IMO. Pizza d'ASPORTO is to be commended for NOT having lamb on their Australian pizza
Get jmac70 on the job - that place needs standards and well......... a menu NaziI thought MasterChef and "hero of the dish" was bad enough, but this Yarraville mob hare using it as a verb.

Refined people with good taste watching plebs eat Hawaiian pizza:
It's still better than the NRL trophy. In breaking news the AFL is seriously thinking of redesigning the premiership cup. It has accepted early entries for consideration

Maybe - but remember if they bathed once a month you'd be lucky and if they forgot to powder themselves the stink would be worse than a pile of foetid feta sprinkled with rancid manufactured hamRefined people with good taste watching plebs eat Hawaiian pizza:

I agree with you 100%. Lamb has no place in pizza.
The mention of lettuce as an ingredient in Greek food brings out the NMBB in me, so I must clarify that lettuce is not a traditional ingredient in souvas or Greek salad.
Regarding the meat filling, souvlaki in Athens is served in skewers (pork), giro (lamb), or rissoles (usually a blend of pork and lamb mince).
There, I feel better now.
FWIW modernised souva joints now offer chicken/haloumi etc...
