It's all a load of double standards anyway. There must have been a sh*t load of Victorians they let in for the GF. How did they get allowed in? As previously discussed, how did the comedian Sasha Cohen and his wife get over here from Sydney?

They got allowed in because they came via the Northern Territory and allegedly used a fake drivers licence as part of the ruse.

They only got found out later when someone tipped off the police.

As someone stated, Baron Cohen and Fisher did two weeks in hotel quarantine and didn't get any special treatment to skip it.

I think the worst part is they didn't spend 2 weeks in NT which would have made them in the clear with spreading the virus if they did happen to get it in their travels.

The fact is they spent a couple of days in the NT , faked their entry into WA and put everyone in that stadium at risk all so they could see their team win? Imagine the AFL and players how angry they would get if they all got covid after spending time with them in the change room?

Ive seen people saying good on them sneaking in as its funny and something everyone dreams of. Pre-Covid yeah sure , and if you were a Perth citizen sure go give it a crack! but to come from Victoria with a massive chance of spreading it in a large setting is the dumbest thing ever.

My guess is like McGuire they tried to get a pass to get in, got knocked back so they used the NT route with a fake ID to bypass the protocols.

One of the guys is a restrautant owner, could be some consequences for his liquor license if he gets a criminal conviction.

Anyone that needs proof that the so called Health advice changes depending in how much money is involved only needs to look at the Queensland premier putting herself in knots to make sure the NRL Grand Final goes ahead. The woman and her incompetent sidekick have locked QLD down 5 times this year on under 6 cases yet now 22 and they are putting restrictions in ( which is what they should do instead of lockdown) but the utter hypocrisy is breathtaking.

She hasn’t stopped didley squat…. For someone that is so so keen to lockdown its pretty obvious why this one has been waved through…. The bottom line will hit the qld government if she cancels due to an arrangement she signed…

Well not quite, they haven't have unlinked community transmission, which has always been the trigger in Qld for lockdowns.

I think the ballpark for full lockdowns are probably changing now anyway as vaccination rates increase (as they should).

Well QLD and WA have received less vaccines but I think that the messaging in QLD in particular has been horrific. Messaging in WA has been mostly fine but just complacency which is a problem but it is one that can be solved.

Who is cheering lockdowns? certainly not myself. The blaring hypocrisy of Queensland and those in charge however is obvious when there is a buck to be had. Her screaming banshee performance this morning at her press conference confirms that she knows everyone can see it and as usual it was fear first then deflection second. After to years of it she is now trying to blame shift her public health issues to the federal government a tactic no doubt McGowan will also use in the next couple of months.


You can pad stats all you like her CHO and her fear mongering on the AZ vaccine is one of the main reasons Qld has had such a slow vaccine roll out.
