Crows a chance next week?

Saints coming off a tough game against the Cats and a trip West

We had a training drill tonight. Should be better prepared with an extra day's break.

Saints will rightly start favourites, but i hope they have a win tomorrow. If they lose, they will come out firing next week and belt us.

I think it might be closer than a lot of people expect.

Saints deserve to be favourites, but they're coming off a very tough game against Geelong, and a long trip West tomorrow, so we could be a chance I guess.

Looking forward to it, anyway.

Nail, Hammer, Head

We will see where we really are at.

Get belted and we are way off.

Win and we are the real deal a shot at top 4

Lose, but are competitive, would be happy but would show we will finish around 5th to 8th

Sunday night gives Stkilda the most time to recover, but yes the Crows will give them a shake next week, especially at Docklands where Adelaide play their best away footy.

Will be a cracker of a match, and it's a Foxtel sunday twilight match, stick that up your arse Ch 7, that means no adds during play, woot.

Have st kilda played this week without anyone knowing?

Of course the Crows are a chance. They are still one of the best shutdown teams in the league and now they have a forward.

TBH I rate the Crows ahead of the Bulldogs and Collingwood.

WHAT, I DONT GET YOUR QUESTION.

Maybe you misunderstood, when I said gives Stkilda the most time to recover, I was talking about Stkilda, not Adelaide at all, and that a late Sunday game gives them a whole 7 days to recover.

DO YOU GET THAT NOW?

Adelaide will be a good opposition, but I don't think they will beat the saints.

Saying that, I don't want them to beat the saints most of all. Adelaide are nipping at 3rd or 4th place now with that % booster thanks to the disgusting performance from Fremante.

Definitely give the Crows a chance next week. The've got a great forward structure (finally!), their midfield is playing well, defence is getting back to its best. They're a team with a fantastically decisive victory under their belts. Meanwhile, we've got the clash of the titans last week and a road trip to Perth this week.

I totally rate your chances.

More than that, part of me has this little voice saying, "Saints top of the ladder, Crows just getting to 4 or 5, they scrape through to win their games. You meet them in the GF, you're absolute rock-solid favorites... what's the worst that can happen...?"

The numbers 9 and 7 keep playing in my head...

Make the numbers stop...

Oh i get it, but it was poorly enough written to allow me to take the p&ss out of it and get a lovely rise from you. Excellent work.:thumbsu:

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Crows will beat the Sainters, they are the real deal.

Don't jinx us :p

Unbelievably, we've actually got multiple forwards now; Tippett/Porps/Knights plus Stevens when he's down there, and with Burton/Walker to come back in. Makes a nice change from having Ian Perrie as our key forward ;)

We tend to match up pretty well with the saints all over the ground, should be one hell of a game. Really looking forward to it, will be a great indicator of where we are (like Collingwood last night).

lets think about this.....crows smashed freo (real tough opp!!) and now their fans are talking about a win against the saints?? give me a break. If they get within 50 points I will be surprised

Sorry, my bad. I meant 'forward line'.

I'm a huge fan of both Tippett & Knights, coincidently both extended family friends.

No doubt Adelaide will want payback for earlier in the year.

TBH I reckon we did Adelaide a favour and they took plenty from that game.

Should be a cracker.

No one else has kept them to 13 points....

No team has kept any team to 13 points since 1961... May have been easy opposition, but it was the manner in which we dismantled them which is most pleasing

Its not just Freo we beat, we have won 7 in a row now. We have also kept 3 teams goalless to half time (from 15 games) and another team to 1 goal. Thats pretty impressive stuff for a team touted as bottom 4 material....

Obviously you haven't watched football for a while.

Big chance and wouldnt surprise me if they get up. Given the defensive efforts of both clubs this year, should be an interesting arm wrestle next week.

This will be a great test for the Crows, theyve played some average teams during their run, so will be interested how they go against a top outfit. If the Saints are gonna lose one, I think this will be the one.

Seems to be a lot of respect given to Adelaide currently :)

Tonight's game will give Adelaide the highest possible confidence it can take into the game. It is this confidence that will at least give St Kilda a run for their money. Will they beat them - will be very tough.

Hey idiot, why don't you stay in Bay 13, it is pretty obvious that you can't cut it on the main board...
