Really like the strong stance we're taking on the Jacobs trade i.e. insisting on pick 14. If the Crows don't want to give up pick 14, they'll have to give up a pick 14 type player i.e. Talia or Davis, otherwise no deal.
IF it's "no deal" Jacobs would either end up staying at the Blues, or be involved with a trade to another club. The ball's in the Crows court now. They've been told what's required. We don't stuff around.
I'd target Davis..the kids a gun, defender what we need.
talia plus a draft pick...cant do a straight swap. Jacobs proved a lot this year, in fact he is our second best ruckman behind kruz. ruckman are hard to find.

Sellar and Jacobs are barely different in rating - Jacobs marginally better because of the Sydney performance. They're both developing, they're both potential.
Carlton needs a defensive KP, Adelaide needs a ruck. It's not going to be pick 14, not even close.
It'll be a swap for Sellar (despite the boast of some anonymous threadgoer, he didn't get invited over to the club for no reason) with a pick upgrade in the second/third round OR it'll be the Bock pick - and you'll be lucky to get that, because Jacobs ain't worth Bock.
That's the realistic scenario.
Hmmm...do I believe a reputable Carlton poster or some butt plug from Adelaide whose been on board for five minutes?

If you're coming over here expecting not to see a one eyed Blues supporter....you surely are MFS.
Carlton aren't interested in Sellar...and yes Jacobs is worth it he's a quality ruckman...and they don;t grow on trees, particularily in SA.
If you want quality you have to give up quality.

Sellar HASN'T PLAYED A SINGLE AFL QUALITY GAME, Jacobs played MANY this year outside of the EF game ............ You are delusional if you think they are ANYWHERE near the same level.
On and Sellar isn't a KPP, he is an undersized ruckman (which is where he has played when in the Crows side and in the reserves) so stop trying to flog him off as one .............

You're going to pay Jacobs $1 million for 3 years so you must rate him. If the Crows (not you, your club) want him that badly you pay or he ends up at the Gold Coast in the PSD.

STOP OVERATING HIM. there is a thread on the carlton board about who everyone wants for their starting 22. most had warnok infront of jacobs. so i say again, STOP OVERATING HIM. i personally do rate the bloke but if your hoping to land the jackpot then you and the rest of the carlton supporters are gonna be pretty dissapointed.

The Gold Coast doesn't have any picks in the PSD.
If he goes into the PSD, then he will end up at
1. Richmond
2. Port Adelaide
3. Adelaide
In that order. West Coast and Brisbane aren't interested, and I can't imagine Essendon having too much interest. Richmond won't even bother negotiating with you, unless they suddenly find a second player in the PSD they need to take first. Port have indicated they're not interested, and won't negotiate, but you can bet your bottom dollar they won't hesitate to snap him up for free unless he prices himself too high.

A reputable poster from a Carlton site who also posts on here said Adelaide had Trent Sporn over a fitness test before we cut him.

Carlton owes you Jacobs because Adelaide is his first choice and the easiest way to be a number one ruck.
They had Warnock there because Sauce wants to leave and Kreuzer is injured.

PSD draft idiot means you don't have to deal with other clubs...Richmond have said they want a quality ruckman so Jacobs could go there if he gets to the PSD. If he was to nominate for the regular draft the the GC would be well ahead of Adelaide.
So like the previous poster said, if Adelaide want to offer Jacos $1M over three years then they must really rate and want him and will bend over to get him, otherwise Jacobs will be not at the crows next year.
