Why is crouch positioned directly behind our ruckman at stoppages? This position is combo defence/attack but requires legspeed for both. He belongs in ROB's preferred tap destination, which wouldn't be directly behind him. Once the ball gets to Crouch's position it's on foot and he doesn't have the leg speed to provide pressure. If we win the contest then that position should be running hard forward and providing an option and potentially then accelerating clear of the contest area. But then we play ROB in a similar role at forward 50 stoppages. Our midfield coach is an idiot.
