Game seems poorly optimised on PC going by a lot of people on reddit.

Can relate though. On my 2080 super running ray tracing medium, playing at 1440p im getting around 45-50fps.

One guy was saying on reddit playing at ray tracing ultra, at 1440p with his 3090 he was barely getting higher than 70fps

DLSS on obviously.

Plebs on Reddit seem to think Ray Tracing is this magical, mature technology that has no real impact on performance.... instead of some cool tech that's still in its infancy that will hammer pretty much any commercial hardware out there.

This is basically Crysis all over again, if you're getting performance issues then turn shit down, or you know........ just play the game instead of trying to jerk off over FPS numbers

Still playing opening Corpo areas so I'm sure my performance will change once I hit the outdoor city parts. But I went through the default settings detected for my system and everything was set to the highest setting excerpt for RT, that was on ultra and the most demanding setting is psycho. I left it at ultra and kept DLSS at auto (will play around with blanaced and performance later if I'm having performance or fidelity issues) and getting a solid 70-80fps at 3440*1440 with a 3080. I don't consider that poorly optimised at all. It's likely definitely Crysis all over again yet people with potato or old gen cards are going to complain and blame optimisation.

Only thing I might look to turn off is that vinaigrette or film grain effect if it's not hiding the DLSS.

Im running around 60fps and its perfectly fine to me. Its not a FPS, it doesn't need to be that high

What are your settings out of curiosity? I'm going to assume the extra perf you get from the 3090 will be offset by the 16:9 to my 3080 on 21:9. 60fps will do me fine, I don't even care for dips to 45'ish during intense moments for a game like this. As you said, it's not a twitch shooter or anything.

How many times did you swap between penis types 1 and 2 just to see it jiggle?

I did it for probably 2-3 minutes. I was disappointed I couldn't helicopter.

Can't believe I'm saying this but this game should have been delayed for longer.

It's just a 'good' game right now imo, nothing special, there are too many things that makes it feel like it was rushed, and features missing that should fit right in.

Won't deny I'm disappointed, but will try make the most of it and complete my first run-through, then save the other 2 life paths for when the PS5 version comes out, hopefully it's 'finished'.

Yeah I'm considering turning it off and just waiting. I'm not happy with this product.

How I miss the days when I was a kid where you'd be driven to the shop to buy a new game. You'd read the instruction manual in the car on the way home. Then you'd just put it into the console and play. Just not the same when you have to spend a whole evening installing it and downloading a patch.

Interested to know the numbers of people unsatisfied who are PC vs Console

Console here and I've turned it off. Will wait patiently for news on the ps5 version.

Just got in, took me almost 24 hours to download!

I’m only getting 25 FPS on high, maybe I should have waited until I upgraded my GPU.
