Collins, to watch him being helped off the ground today was very emotional, this man has put his body on the line as captain for the last 4 years in a manner not equalled by anyone, not even close. D. Collins most importantly is a super person a man that i will cherish to have met, he came back on the second half and was fantastic. This man is a credit to himself his family and the Rupertswood football Club and is cherished in every way.
We were comprehensively beaten today but our effort IMO over the year was enormous, we go int "C" Grade with the knowledge ex-players are very keen to continue our rise. Watch out "C" Grade, watch out OC, KB out what a great year.
Well done to Old Carey, it seems they did what it takes to win. Doesn't matter how you do it as long as it happens. Bad luck to the Rupo boys. Good that they keep going up the grades but dissapointing that they keep losing. Thoughts go out to Collo. Ripping bloke and a great Skipper. Easily the most courageous player i've seen or played with. Don't know how a bloke of his size can keep backing into packs the way he does??? Anyway I'm sure the Rupo boys will hit it hard down at the farm tonight and back up for a big season next year.
Do those Ex players include Jordan, Feilding or Clarke? If so, look out B grade.
