BigWaz' Whopping Great Tips:
AP v EP ... Here's hoping that EP can upset AP as they did earlier in the year... Would be a big win for the centrals as well! EP by 2 goals.
what??!?? - these two have not played against each other you fool!

Bulleen touched them up. North Brunwick beat them in an upset.

not at all lilwaz - just perplexed with your error...

true right those teams did...and not to take the gloss off the Cobras & Brunswick, but by all reports - AP wasnt near the current form, and with certain keyplayers injured now returning & i suppose as well the mindset that they are in, compared to how they were, I wonder if AP can maintain the streak (+3 games) and continue to soar to success for September action.

still drunk...

lol .... you elevated PUMPA into the 1's yet?

He played last week in the seniors and kicked 3 goals from memory. He was unlucky to get dropped but still might get the late call up.

I think he's pretty keen on winning the Ressies B&F though!

Waz,
In looking through all the results last week I noticed Whiting only kicked 2 in quite a big win. Is he injured? I thought he would win the goal kicking after last years performance.

He is tagging the opposition ruchman from the bench. We may try him at FB this week, Would still kick a few goals!

He did have a quiet game last week... kicked a few this week though.
The final 2 spots for the 5 heating up.
Mt Lilydale - should make it. Although Nth Brunswick got close last week.
Richmond - having a great year
Albert Park - on the improve....
Box Hill North - rank outsider
Odds stacked against any other team you would think.
NB v ML - Mount by many goals. between 8 and 9.
BHN v BC - Bulleen by 13 points - but only because of the umpires.
WB v SM - The world includes South Mornington. 114 points.
AP v EP - I'm still a fan of the Sharks, but the other Park will be too strong across the ground. 32 points.
SFX v STH - SFX will break their losing streak and run over the Tallies in the second half. 81 points.
Kew v RC - Waz, optimism is a positive thing - keep up the good work. Kew by 133 points.
*Mount by many points? 33 scoring shots to 16 - should have done more damage on the scoreboard. But didn't. Bad kicking is bad football.
*Bocco a lot better than I thought. Bulleen underperformed. Solid win that still gives them a sniff of the 5 - a very, very faint sniff. Still unlikely and if they do sneak in they won't cause too much trouble.
*WB up by 156 points, which is more than 114 points. 15 goals to 1 opening term - ouch.
*I don't know why I persist with the Sharks - I'm not a supporter, my cousin doesn't play for them, I haven't even 'been in the area so I thought I'd have a look'. I was nearly 8 goals off the margin there! AP are coming good as we look towards the business end.
*SFX won by 77 points - predicted margin 81. Almost got that one right. The Saints back in town after a Collingwood-esque June slump.
*Centrals did a lot better than I thought they would. What's your rating on Kew, BigWaz / Lakey? 6.9 to 2.2 in the third looks to have done the real damage.
We let them get away from us in the 3rd unfortunately.... They are a solid side though Horne was probably the difference, he kicked all 6 goals in the 3rd quarter! It would be nice if he tweaked a hammy before the rematch...

A bit of self-congratulatory backslapping there Pan?

Centrals were right in it except for a period of 15 minutes in the 3rd quarter when Horne took over. Our kicking for goal is killing us. we kicked another 20 behinds and most of them were gettable.
By the way... All the best to big Andrew Read(y) from our reserves who had to have surgery on a compound fracture of the jaw sustained in a head clash with a team mate.
OUCH!
I'm sure everyone knows who Ready is.... he will definately be missed and is a big loss for our ressies. I figure he'll be out for the rest of the year
