Roberts missed for reasons (old age), he and Rhodes will make a difference but their not playing this year as well as last year.

RM...how's the ground looking up?

The ground is looking ok, the rain has helped.

Also you may want to proof read your posts from now on.

Who is the best you've seen??

Best I have seen in the Ammo's is Tony McGeorge from St Bede's Mentone or Adam Acreman from Old Mentonians.

From D4 this year

I am biased but I think Horne is the best small forward in the comp and and his sidekick McDermott has been just as good considering he missed 5 games earlier in the season.

Viola carved us up in one quarter and is a class player.

Pearson from St Francis is all class he kicked 5 against us.

Fradkin Kicked a bag earlier in the season opener.

TIPS:
B.H.N V Mt.L----Mt.L by a few goals
W.B V S.T.Ho----W.B by a SH#T load

Kew V S.F.X----Kew in a good game by 3 goals
E.P V Rich.C----Rich.C by 5 goals
A.P V Nth.B----A.P comfortably

i think what flowerpower was trying to say was that west brunswick had a horror 2007 with injuries & this was reflected in their position on the d3 ladder at seasons end. i guess theyre now making up for it with the way they are playing in d4 this year!!

but are they capable of making the step to d3 for 2009? west brunswick have a history of choking in finals & therefore wasting seasons:

2002 1st d3, 2003 3rd d2, 2004 relegated to d3, 2005 3rd d3, 2006 4th d3, 2007 relegated to d4.

i think theyll be consigned to another year of d4 football in 2009 after another fruitless finals campaign...

Fooey - you still hanging around in WB forums? Still bitter that you couldn't get a game at WB? I here the boys still miss you. You should go down to their West2000 and so hi.

BTW - you still sporting a goatie and wearing gloves?

no - just commenting from experience. not bitter at all. theres nearly noone left from my time there! id reckon id be forgotten about by now. do they still have that function?

yes - still have those...

What is the story with SFX defeating Kew in both ressies and seniors?

Kew are THE "World Beaters" last week after inflicting some overdue pain on West Brunswick. Then they rock up down at Beaconsfield possibly a little cocky and get beaten by St Francis the next week:confused:

I love this game and all the weird crap it seems to throw up every week:D

Definitely not cocky, SFX were set for this game as Kew was for WB last week. Kew were very flat and were second for the ball all day. SFX were excellent and their midfield was exceptional. The score flattered Kew as on many occasions SFX led by more than 100 points.

Their 2's also played good footy. Each side in D4 have had their down weeks and it is hard to keep up for an entire season. WB and SFX had down weeks last week and Kew and possibly Richmond had down weeks this week.

The top 5 is set and 2 games this week will determine the make up of the the top 5. SFX - ML and Kew - AP.

If SFX play like that in September then they will be definitely hard to beat.

SFX controlled the game throughout and smashed an ordinary Kew. Congrats to St Francis who on their day are as good as anyone.
