BHN best and fairest will be pretty tight, hard to pick a favourite.

I mentioned him for team of the year, Leigh Coffey from LTU should poll well but there's a lot of guys in that team who could pick up plenty of votes.

Grant Ryan is easily SM's best so he is a bit of smoky as well.

Depends who in D4 you are playing. It is the division with the biggest margin between top and bottom sides. The top two D4 sides would probably avoid relegation if playing in D2. That's my guess.

which club ? As for the differences d4 players probably have more teeth

seeing jeffrey play last week, would hav to be close to the best midfielder in D4, taged all day still would have picked up the umpies votes.
 
Good work in the AF this week OC_37... but you mentioned Mconville-Brain as a key player for SM... though he has been suspended! Clearly you're not keeping up to date with BigFooty ;)
 
'09 Finals Tips:

Lt.U v Kew----For Kew to win they must stop the run from the Lt.U backline (they link up better than any other side in D4) and hurt them physically (but fairly) in tackles and contests as they dont like the hard stuff. Lt.U will win by 6 goals.

Rich.C v Sth.M----I played Rich.C a couple of weeks ago and was impressed by the way they switch the play and slow down a game when challenged. Sth.M play a similar brand of footy but not as effective so they will have to hope they are fitter than Rich.C and try run them out of it. Rich.C by 5 goals.

Reserves: Nth.B, Mt.L.
 
Interesting to note that mild rain (5mm) is predicted for tomorrow morning, with scattered showers predicted for the afternoon.

How do you think this will affect tomorrow's games?

They will be on an express elevator up the grades. I was up at Kilmore last weekend for the ACK vs Sacred Heart (Adelaide) schoolboys game and there is some serious old-boy talent. Shane Crawford, etc as previously mentioned. Garry Lyon and Billy Brownless might even get a gig in the reserves...

Be interesting to see where they are based.

Kew will win seniors - ground won't suit Latrobe as it is too small for their running game. Kew will be too tall up forward. Put that together with 3 handy ins and Kew will win by 4 goals. Great motivation for both teams - winner goes to D3.

Reserves - NB have 3 back from last week senior side to play ressies this week. NB to win just!!

Souths B&F Favourite would be Sam Wright (#16), has had a awesome season, Skipper Grant Ryan (#18) will be close 2nd, but will have more of a chance good chance for the league B&F than sam as he does stand out running of the back flank.

As for other players from other clubs its hard when you only see them once or twice a season, but Yaman kicking 100+ goals would be a good chance and Pike from Richmond would have at leat 2 best ons against South this year so he may be up there.

As for this weekend..

La Trobe V Kew - gonna stick with La Trobe here without any confidence, alot will depend on how many players Kew get back from injuries/resting? Also looks like its gonna be wet and that will help La Trobes runners and not Kews talls. La Trobe by 13 points.

Richmond V South Mornington - A very interesting elimanation final here, South have lost both games to the Snakes this year but have had chances to win both games but let them slip, hopefully tomorrow we can take the chance when it comes and get up, should be a hard fought game and im hoping us boys down South can win out first senior final ever. South by 8 points.:thumbsu:

NB in the ressies beat kew by 7 goals... will be interesting to see how much their team sheet differs from last weekend.

La trobes ones giving kew an absolute footy lesson with close to a full strength side.

LTU Vs NB in the ressies - will be interesting, D4s best ressie side against D4s stacked side.

AP Vs LTU in the ones - Down to the wire! LTU to outrun AP

I hear Point Cook is interested and has been for a little while- as i may have mentioned a few weeks ago i wouldnt be surprised with 2 12 team divisions in D3 and D4 next year, unless Ivanhoe merges with Old Ivanhoe which i doubt would happen
