One of the interesting things about trans women is that (probably due to their male socialisation) they offend at the same rate as males, not women. So things like stalking and domestic violence crimes are committed by them in a way more consistent with men than women. But once they identify as female, their crimes are noted as being committed by females in crime statistics. I have a friend, a woman who is a feminist, in this position - and the idea that it wasn't recognised as male violence rubbed salt into the wound for her.

The amount of trans women (former males) in the first place let alone those who offend and 'skew' the statistics would be neglible at best.

Your friend if she was being honest with herself should recognise the extreme amounts of men who either do not report domestic violence against them by women (for instance) or who do and no report is ever filed. I am one of the latter and there's no statistic listed there. These numbers would be in the tens of thousands and are not recorded. So where are the stats really skewed?

To be worrying about the trans women skewing the numbers is both disingenuous and naive.

Short-term, probably not. Long-term, he may be able to counsel players to avoid his pit-falls... or lots of other things I'm thinking of that will get my post deleted! Seriously though, apart from his life choices, which are not really anyone's business, he always came across as fairly intelligent. Even as late as last week he was on the podcast someone posted earlier speaking about the current EDFL season. You'd hope there is a possible rehabilitation and redemption. Constable (probation) first two years

First Constable (confirmed) years three and four

Senior Constable fifth year onwards

Promotion beyond that requires applying.

Spot on and it is a time based promotion. The last time based promotion. Every rank above (SGT etc) has to apply and be promoted into the rank based on performance etc.

I’m not 100% sure on the additional ranks within Senior Constable (Leading Senior Constable etc)

In NSW you are automatically promoted to SC after 5 years

I am sure there are cases where people remain Constable after 5 years if their performance is sub-standard
