Im working in a another country ATM... Game is on live at 4.20am. Told the boss I wont be in that day.

Really excited to be going to the G to see Menz play his first senior game after so long.

I don't think we should expect too much of him though. Like when he came back for his first VFL game, let's be happy if he gets a few touches and gets through the game with no injuries.

That highlight reel always makes me sad- sad for the 4 lost years of his talent- but I would say that Menz will have put those years behind him and will be looking to the future, not back into the past.

A German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, once said, “That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.” If this is true, then it makes Menzel an incredibly strong young man.

Awesome news, also really really nice to see that he is named in the forward pocket and not on the bench. Although part of me thinks it would be pretty cool too see him start on the bench (not as sub), just to hear the roar when he then enters the field of play for the first. Because I reckon there would almost be more people watching the interchange gates waiting for him to run on for the first time, as would be watching the game - the noise from the crowd might only challenge the noise for when he gets his first mark, first handball, first kick, first goal, hell, probably every touch he gets tomorrow night.

This is what I want C 09! Not to start as the sub, but to start on the bench. Just so I can hear the roar when he comes onto the ground and takes up his position.
