The next person that mentions that ruddy plodder Rockcliff, I will personally haunted you in the after life!

You have been warned!
Exactly. I see Rockliff plenty up here. He's a taller Jaryd Blair. He's a ****ing plodder. If we get him, he'll become the biggest whipping boy you've ever seen. There's a reason he doesn't get tagged even when he's racking them up and that's when Redden and Rich aren't playing.

We need to se if we can snare Dangerfield now. He'll be a free agent next year so compo will be less then if traded this year. We have to convincing to come. Get Aish + something from Brisbane and use that for Dangerfield. Aish will bail on Brisbane next year anyway.

That'd be as good as result as we can hope from from losing a top 3 player at the club.

**** I'm glad he's contracted.

I think we need to wait till a trade is done (if at all) before jumping the gun on the situation.

If Beams has genuine reasons for wanting to go home we should be able to get a bidding war between GC/Lions.

If we are smart about it we may be able to turn it into a positive.

Jack Martin and GC's second round pick.

Everyone already knows how good O'Meara is so there's no chance of getting him, but Martin is only one full year into AFL yet in the few games he played, he showed his talent.

also, it would piss Kevin Sheedy of so much for saying we should have traded a big name for a mini draft pick in the first place.

Would Martin want to play for a Vic Club?

What about Tom Lynch and 1st Round Pick?

If traded it, s disturbing as such as loosing a young leader at the club but more disturbing is the fabric of our club under pressure

Brisbane has said its not going to trade its pick 4 constantly. Either it was holding back to get Beams or they really aren't trading it. Gold Coast have a gun midfield and don't need Beams. I think we are going to struggle to get a decent trade for him.

Fun fact: You have 0 chance of getting either of them :)

How long till Bucks gets the sack?

You may well have 0 chance of getting Beams. They will likely try to deal with GC first. After all, he is from there, and they actually might even challenge for a flag while Beams is still in his prime.

They also have far more players that may make a suitable trade.

The same reason your idiot posters persist to post on our forums requesting Rocky + Pick 4.

Wow, you are a clever troll. If you read what you have just written, you've effectively called yourself an idiot. Nothing left to say...

I dont see any way possible how this is a positive we trade a All-Australian B&F Winner for a random shot at a draft pick sure he could be better than beams he could also be another scott gumbleton.

Fingers crossed we don't. I'd much prefer a highly rated kid from the GC list. No players from your stinking turd of a club are particularly appealing.

Quick straw poll. Who would prefer him traded to GC on principle due to the sheer number of flogs that support the Brions?

******* over them already and the news only came out an hour ago!!
We'd get more from the Gold Coast I reckon. Especially as they are feeling a bit of pressure from the board to win games and make finals.
