Think you came onto our board a few times claiming you knew for a fact Beams was going to stay at Collingwood.

Beams will be at Brisbane next year as we said all along.
I had it on good authority he was. I now have it in good authority that circumstances have changed significantly.

Can't say I blame him given what I've just been told.

It's not the best time to come on our board and gloat though, and your club is certainly no lock as his destination. Now kindly **** off to your own board.

You've got a deal. Seriously though it would be in the best interests of both clubs to make this deal as theres a very good chance we do bid on him at this stage I reckon. You guys can grab a mid to try and cover your loss of Beams while still getting Moore, and we get our KPF.

Pls

If u can convince the other clubs who hav picks before us its a deal

Dayne Beams will be the first player to walk out on the club under Buckley's reign, FACT.

Dayne Beams will be the first player to leave Collingwood under Buckley's reign that we actually wanted to keep, FACT.

But by all means let's storm the castle now.:drunk:

Essendon and GWS wanted him.
Leon Cameron has stated publicly he honestly thought dusty wanted to stay at richmond.

Beams and Dustys off field rumours are very similar mate

Not really.

It would be great if it played out that way and Beams stayed and signed on again beyond next season but it's clearly different.

GWS pulled out for Martin and then he was left with no other suitors and tail between his legs.

Both Brisbane and GC will be falling over themselves to land Beams.

Funnily enough it wouldn't surprise me if it happened.

I would be delighted with that outcome.

Cloke would get some good delivery from Malceski and return to top form .

Mitchell would be an in and under warrior and be another Collingwood father / son. Win win I say.

It's why my old man and I had to go separate for some years, I don't think I know anyone as pessimistic about collingwood as my dad.......but god love him he's barely wrong about what was going to happen too us.

It must be that generation because that explains my old man and I to a tee...

One dynamic that'll be interesting is this board moving forward. I'd say a decent % of our posters are U21 and don't really know what it's like to support an average Collingwood.

We'll be bottom 6 next year so it'll make for interesting reading.

I reckon you guys are hard on Buckley, I reckon his building a pretty talented list with this mini rebuild.

If only it was a mini rebuild. We are in full Fukushima meltdown mode. Complete with total denial by the governing officials.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive lost count how many players have been sacked, delisted, not renewed their contracts or want to move to another club. Our midfield next year will be Pendles by himself.

So less than ten then?

Beams wasn't a core player in the 2010 list Beast. He was very much a bit part player then. He become who he is now, in 2012....ironically under Bucks.

Do you really need to peddle this stuff right through these threads though? Why not take it to the Bucks mega thread because that's who you're aiming this at.

We already have just about every thread bar maybe the Darcy Moore one, infiltrated with Buckley talk. Why? Can't supporters discuss other topics?
This topic has everything to do with Bucks based on what I've been hearing for awhile and Caro's mail from a couple of months ago.

You can cover your face and claim it's not happening all you like but it is mate, whether you believe me or not it's up to you of course.

Hi Mods, I understand you have personal lives ( :$:$) but can we have a bit of house cleaning?

I'm not saying turn into Carlton and Essendon boards but still, it's a little to 'laxed around here.

Mid 90's were pretty bad for me and I think we're going to endure the same in the not too distant future, but are you telling me it was even worse before then?! :)

Lumumba as well maybe? It's reported as being mutual but I feel as if he is more keen to leave.

I'm happy to take Dayne's word for it absent of any proof to the contrary. His dad has been very sick and I won't hate the guy for wanting to be close to family.

But jeez this sucks. My mind can't quite process how harmful this is to the club's onfield prospects in the short-medium term.

Pick 4 is inadequate for a 24 year old AA, former BnF winner who is at the start of his prime. O'Meara would be fair compo. Otherwise, if it's Brisbane, it's 4 and a pretty good player thanks.
