Griffen is 28, 2xBnF and 1xAA
Beams is 24, 1xBnF and 1xAA

Would be of similar value at the trade table (unless Swann remains seated at that table).

Even if you assume they are equal as players (whilst I would rate Beams higher), you have to take into account that 6-7 years of Dayne is worth a hell of a lot more than 2-3 years of Griffen... and that's really why we are holding firm with the Beams trade.

I was selling the farm for Ryan Griffen. I was probably a bit excited really, but I love the way he plays. We would never (and shouldn't now that I realise he is actually 28) make this deal.
