Dick Grayson, Its said to be that he is undercover like they are doing with the Grayson comic they started last year, But he is spying on Waller for Batman and not Spryal like in the comics. Also said to be a tombstone for Dick in BvS

Apparently Common (who was previously linked to being cast as GL John Stewart a few years back) has been cast to appear in Suicide Squad - no role is mentioned as yet.

Personally hoping it's Bronze Tiger but as someone in the comments section mentioned, maybe it's infact for John Stewart/Green Lantern? aussiedude can probably confirm either way (I don't know much about the GL comics) but apparently Stewart is an ex soldier before he joins the GL Corps (so could potentially be an ARGUS soldier in the film and maybe setting up for a future role as a GL).

It wont be GL i dont think he is the leader type to play John Stewart, my pick is Black Manta or black spider. and i think he could be Manta and then he will get a multi film deal with the Aquaman movie.

I dont know if he could pull of Bronze Tiger.

A couple of tidbits.

Saw a rumour yesterday that Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son) was going to be cast as 'Static Shock' in the DC movie universe.

The Rock also said a few days ago that he expects the Shazam movie to be released before the 2019 date originally suggested.

EDIT: I said above it was part of the DC Movie universe but seems it would be part of a web series on Netflix (not sure if that will fit in with either the TV or movie universes - if the rumour is true).

I saw a lot of media seizing on it and reporting it but couldn't find anything official. Unless it was just a tease to try and gauge reactions maybe?

Saw something over the weekend suggesting it was an attempt to try and bring more young African American talent into Hollywood.

A few interesting rumours today I've seen.

There's a rumour going around that the Green Lantern reboot will actually involve more than 1 Green Lantern (maybe going for the Corp?). Apparently would see Hal Jordan, Jon Stewart and Guy Gardner. What's more Chris Pine (who I think was linked with being cast as Steve Trevor) might actually be lined up for Hal Jordan.

With Comic con next month (think I read Marvel won't be appearing), could be potentially huge for DC if they reveal plenty to get hyped about. Maybe will see a Sucide Squad trailer or a second BvS trailer (or both).

Reports are the script will be finished next month. Not surprised he will also direct since he was offered to direct BvS or Justice League Part 1 but turned it down because he wasnt ready to do all the SFX and wanted more time to learn them.

Also tomorrow at the main DC panel they will have a first look at Suicide Squad.

No, If Warner Bros are smart they will take a step back and let the people at DC do what they want. GL was a prime example of a studio messing with a movie too much and trying to sell a movie on starpower. GL was dead with all the BTS shit that went on. sure there are others who would be better than Johns but they could do much worse. and as long as DC get what they want they will be fine.

But its WB so they have killed heaps of good ideas and also there was what they did the Kevin Smith's 90's Superman script.

I actually didn't mind the DVD of TDKR. Year One was also okay. The Doomsday one for Superman was also watchable, but obviously I'd always prefer the novels. But you can see why they do it, appeals to a wider audience.

Should be an interesting day tomorrow when DC are on Hall H.

By far the most exciting of the 3 they announced yesterday [Other 2 are Batman: Bad Blood with Batwoman, and Justice League Vs Titans] I expect Romano to get Hamill and Conroy for the VO. and word out of the screening yesterday was that Timm's Justice League Gods and Monsters was one of the best DCAU films, ive had my order from amazon since it was announced last year at comic con and the prequel comics have been good, so were the little 5 min videos they did. Should sell well and there will be a 2nd season of the minisodes next year.

Killing Joke it one that i have wanted them to do since they started making them in 2007, and since they did Dark Knight Returns i hope they can soon do Kingdom Come which will need to be 2 parts at least and should get the old Justice League voices back for it.

I do like the change from a GL to a GL: Corps movie with it being 3 years after Justice League Part 1. So they can do an older Hal and have Kyle as the main Lantern going forward, They will use John but might not use Guy. Give me Kyle and Ch'p or B'dg even if marvel fans will try and claim its a rip off from Groot and Rocket. They will need to do a good job introducing the non human lanterns which the other GL movie failed at.

I would love to see Mark Strong come back as Sinestro - was one of the few shining lights in the GL movie.

If they do go with a trio, I wonder if Simon Baz might be considered to add some diversity to the universe.

God no Simon Baz was a shit character, Jessica Cruz is a better character than Simon. i dont see them using him because it will take too long to do the whole terrorist and good stuff. I think they will just do Hal, John and Kyle. With a chance of Guy and almost no chance of Jessica or Simon. Guy as a Red Lantern would be nice to see in live action.
