It's still a great deal potentially for both clubs. Now if pick 3 can help us get Luko.....
Any ideas why it seems we are all in on Lukosious and not looking at Rankine? I know he's been injured and has a big $$$ contract, but he was also also considered an elite talent.
I suspect GC are doing everything to keep Rankine (including possibly getting Betts), but I'm a bit surprised he's seemingly fallen completely off our radar.

He was never particularly on the radar, at least not as much as Luko and Rozee.
My guess as to why is you dont find too many guys of his size with the skillset he has, and we do have aging tall forwards.

Any way you slice it, getting a top 3 pick with that currency is daylight robbery. Especially when think back to what GC were asking to move from 8 to 2 last year.
Admittedly, the robbery wasn’t Oceans 11 quality by the end, but still, a world class fleecing if I’ve ever seen one!
