Doesn’t matter we still get pick 3 a win and pick 21 that was a freebie that takes into account pick 19 so no big loss from last years draft. Don’t care about Carlton pick. We still get our man lucosious which was our objective last draft so a win

There's a real good chance the player I rate at 3 (Kemp) who got injured will now slip to 8-10, so unless we use 3 to trade for a ready made player, looks like Carlton have done very well in the end.

Oh so it's who you rate....... right. Pick 8 doesn't get us in the Luko conversation but then I guess you didn't rate him that highly
So at no level would we be losing the trade unless we finished below Carlton?
It’s a draw I reckon, a win win. We get a quality pick, they have a slight downgrade on their first and also get another decent pick.

Seriously you don't rate pick 3 because your favorite player might go higher?
Pick 3 is fantastic, its as high a pick as we have had and gives us currency for a lot of things.
Surely even the most anti-afc Crows fans can see this.

It's a win win at this stage, in no way though did we lose it. They jumped at the chance to get Stocker and I'm not convinced he's got all the tools. Bit like Poholke for mine.
Both clubs read each other's lists better than their own IMO.

If we dont use it to get luko i would draft ash or young. Both will be stars.
This trade has proven to be pretty good for us. Pick 3 is a good result. The pick we hand back is now of no consequence to us as it has zero effect on our list. Many will debate the final number because people want to argue who won or lost but for me it’s a win because we wanted a very early pick and we got it.
Aggressive trading paid off for us and I hope we’d do the same again. We’ll always have opportunities to use picks in the late single digits or early teens but a pick this high is a rare opportunity.
There are a lot of things to criticise at the moment. I hope people don’t think this trade is one of them. Regardless of the end result from here it was a risk worth taking.
