Nah, anyone would do that trade any day, especially for this year's draft. Actually our draw didn't end up as soft as most thought at the start of the year, we did play the shittest team ever twice but we also played the top 4 in Geelong and West Coast twice and also Saints and Port Power who are just outside the 8 twice.
At the start of the year, we all thought Geelong, Saints and Port Power will all struggle.

The reason why Carlton think they get a win by only giving up pick 3 is that that is actually quite low for them as they have had that many pick 1's that a pick 3 is just ho hum. But they got a pick 19 last year and 'only' had to take a 5-6 spot downgrade to their pick this year to get it...carlton logic

Yep ... and we're now almost certain out of the 8, we'd have to pummel Doggies to make up the 5.5% difference in percentage with the Hawks - ain't gonna happen.

Although this year's draft isn't consider strong, the top 4 is still consider to have top end quality with only 2 players consider pick 1 (which is like any other year) and then it's consider weaker than other draft, especially from pick 7/8+
