Some great shows being named...was a big fan of Degrassi and Press Gang...

The main guy from Press Gang (started with D...Dexter?) has shown up a few places. I'm pretty sure he's English but he played an American on the show. I remember him being a guest star on The Flying Doctors, also playing an American. He had agoraphobia ("I'm scared, but I don't know what I'm scared of...Why would I want to tell anyone that???"...."Why'd you leave me out there??")

He was also the chef guy in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

And Julia Sawalha was/is gorgeous. She and Alyssa Milano were my two big celebrity crushes when I was a kid.

Degrassi Junior High...and the episode where Wheels is seen wearing a FOOTSCRAY jumper...

It's now available on DVD, and for those of you who have heard about it, but not seen the vision...Here's the screenshots. (I hope...)

*How did he get hold of this jumper in Canada in 1987?

*Did he realise what he was wearing was a VFL Footscray jumper from Australia?

It features on the Degrassi Junior High DVD - Season One Episode: It's Late!

The scene has Joey Jeremiah, Wheels and Shane discussing whether or not Shane had sex with Spike.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Wheels in a Footscray jumper.

Loved Press Gang. The episode where Dexter gets trapped in the collapsed building, talking to a faceless girl through a huge pile of rubble was brilliant. "You just missed a great girl" still gives me chills

I loved the lion version of Voltron - was meh about the first version of it though. Too many characters and the space mice rocked!

Yep Dexter Fletcher was English, but played Spike with an American accent. He was also in Hotel Babylon as the concierge character.

Julia Sawalha is indeed gorgeous, but there was also plenty of competition on Press Gang. Gabrielle Anwar was the obvious one, but some of the minor female roles were very classy as well. Most notable in my eyes was the redheaded Irish girl who Kenny kept getting on a crossed line in one episode. She was very yummy indeed.
