Has huge wraps on himself. Please don't under estimate how bad this attitude problem is, it's not improving either. He's not a team player, he's not disciplined and his body was wrecked before he even went to the hawks, and has only gotten worse. I cringe every time i read a blues supporter saying we should get him, is the last person in the league we need.

Im hearing you, but I cant think of a Forward that doesnt have a healthy dose of Ego.

Fevola
Richo
Lloyd
Plugger
Brereton

The list goes on.

Ego I can deal with. Its the injuries that concern me more.

He gets a clean bill of health and it would be remiss of the club not to look at him. Por a second round pick (27) he is (talent wise) a better option than anything else in the draft at a pick that high.

His injuries will prevent him delivering any benefit to his club, his attitude will be a constant problem and drag that club down. It's worse than any of the guys you mentioned already, they have ego, he is a problem child and would only get worse if he played well.

His body was already stuffed when he was at North Launceston, the injury he had this year to his sesamoid is worse than the one that cost Adrian Whitehead his career.

So many other players to look at that would be so much better for the club than him.

Truth be told, it's unfeasiable to suggest we'd get anything halfway decent for the likes of Bentick, Cloke, Fisher, Wiggins etc ...

The only realistic and valuable trade commodities we'd have are players like Grigg, Hampson and Walker (even if I'll be unpopular for putting his name up, but it has to be said the club would probably give up Walker if it meant getting a high draft pick or quality player from another club in return)

I honestly feel we should try and make a run/play for McKinnley again from West Coast, I do hear whispers he may be put up for trade bait.

Its information like that concerns me. I didnt realise it was that bad.

You sound like you know the guy? Got any inisde info on what the Hawks are planning with him?

A late third rounder/ early fourth rounder in this draft is a token trade at best.

Hampson: No (Insurance should Warnock go down again). Consider it at the end of next year as a trade to GC.

Let him show his wares and get another year into him. Would be worth a mid 1st rounder to GC if he continues his development.

Walker: No. Due to injuries he's sustained thus far in his career, the fact he is one more shoulder away from career over, and issues with his disposal under pressure, he would not attract anything better than a late second rounder at best. And he is a better player than that, just had his development ******ed by injuries. More valuable on the list than anything we would get in return.

Me too. Second rounder and Browne. Reckon they would look at that pretty closely

Walker
Fisher
Grigg
All should be shopped around...we have been pretty patient with Walker..he will show a bit in a game and then go missing for the next 4 ..sadly he's an athlete trying to play football ..his decision making is pretty ordinary as is his disposal by foot (although he has improved in this area).
we have others to do the same job..if we can use him to snare a half decent forward of backman then i would do the deal.

I really think we can be quite active in this years draft, given how young our list, and the holes that we do have in our list. We have to find another big bodied defender to really help Jamo, as Bower and Thornton really are flankers.

If we could find a Harry Taylor type, that would be prefect. Unfortunately, his type doesn't exist in this years draft.

Im with you there HBF.

We should look at drafting Hall + one of McKinley or Tarrant to go with a whatever KPF we pick up in this years Draft with our first rounder.

No excuses with Hall. A third rounder + fringer should see it done. Cant see that offer getting trumped by any other side.

Would be perfect at Carlton. Would free Setanta + Waite to play down back permanently, kick @ 50 goals himself and free up Fev of a defender or two.

Would make our Forward (and back) lines so much more dangerous and less predictable for the next two-three years while our young KPF from this years/ next years drafts are developing in the twos.

Also insurance should Fev go down mideason with injury (god help us).

McKinley (and oddly enough Tarrant) might be harder to dislodge from thier respective clubs. But we should make a play for them with our second rounder + a fringer/ young WA player.

Hopefully pick up another third/ fourth rounder or two with trades to take a few speculative picks from trading off some of our fringers.

If Warnock comes on, we can play Hammer + Warnock as our two main rucks with Kruezer as third ruck/ third forward. Let him bulk up and see him less intimidated against the bigger bodies ruckmen. We could then also entertain the option of trading Hammer next year for a low to middle first round pick from the GC.

Forward line of:

FF: Yarran Fev Betts
HF: Kruezer Hall Ohailpin

Backline of:

HB: Bower Tarrant Waite
FB: Thornton Jamison Armfeild

Mids/ Centers:

Judd, Gibbs, Murphy, Joseph, Walker, Warnock

Bench:

Hampson, Carrazzo, Simpson, Russell

Depth/ Injuries/ Suspension:

Hadley, Stevens, Houlihan, Scotland, Robbo, Grigg, Austin, (pick #1 KPF), Gartlett, Sauce

Thats a top 4 side right there.

agree with bold, But wiggo is the soul of the team. No way would we delist wiggo:thumbsu:.

And don't forget that Wiggins >>>> Hodge

Now on a serious front I think the delistings should include

Hartlett - Has been on our list for far to long for too little return. Injuries or not, he hasn't progressed and probably never will

Bentick - I think the fact that he hasn't been in the team this year shows where he sits in the big scheme of things.

Edwards - see Bentick

Bannister - Has been on the fringe since he came to the club. Has played some good games over the journey but Aaron Joseph and Armfield have probably leap past him as preferred stoppers.

Bentley - off the rookie list you go. Sorry mate you're just not quite up to AFL standard

:confused:You must be on drugs or drinking Ga Ga juice to put a post like this up. Get real! We had as good a year as we could have, given our injuries and the age and experience of our Group. Have a look at who got Brisbane over the line on Saturday night - Brown, Bradshaw, Black, Power and McGrath etc. All premiership players of 150+ games and round about 8-10 year's experience. Where are our players like that! Fev, Hoops, Juddy and Stevo. We simply do not have the core of experienced players that other clubs do.

Have a look at St Kilda or Geelong, our list is nothing like theirs, Given the injuries to Waite and Jamo, the long term injury to Warnock and the age of people like Kruze, Murphy and Gibbs we did a magnificent job to get where we did.

Get real, we only needed a modicom of luck and we would have got over the line of Saturday night.

Just take a Bex and have lie down and you will feel better.:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
