So unless that's wrong I can't see us using a high pick for him, which kinda blows because I liked him.

Would only take Lonergan and maybe Petterd.

Lonergan is extra depth in the inside midfield, strike me down, but I thought he was a very good player, someone I rated at Essendon. I was surprised. Can find the footy, hard as a cats head and disciplined to the cause. Seems very coachable.

What would you think about Josh Toy being picked up? Was rated a top 5 draft prospect as junior and has, I believe, been played out of position. Thoughts?

Has a heart problem, (literally) so he hasn't been able to run to full capacity. I'd stay clear, the most I'd give would be a rookie spot, but I'm sure clubs are willing to offer more.

Would he? I watched a melbourne game and he didn't reach double figures for possessions and was uncompetitive and putrid. I think people, myself included are a bit blinded by his game against Collingwood.

Yes. Probably get him as a rookie if we wanted to. Very impressive in the VFL.

Do you seriousy think that valenti eta have performed better in vfl than pettard bate and bennell.....id seriously doubt it, none of those bums at port melb look to have the necessary upside to step up....
