Not to my knowledge.

You might be thinking of Bailey Scott - son of Robert Scott. And yes, earlier this week I recall hearing Scott had nominated the North Melbourne Football Club turning his back on Suns and Cats. He is not close to a first rounder from what I have seen.

Sorry, you’re correct. I was thinking of Bailey Scott.

It's been like that for a couple of days. Bigfooty now has a filter for n-o-r-f.

Bloody norf
A forum i was on years ago had an autocorrect and some clever chap made an image that you could post of that - pointless trying to ban shit like that.

Also e-girls e-gulls tea-girls etc etc etc - who gives a shit why are people having kittens over this crap

Draft picks have been wildly inflated for a while.

WCE are guilty of this as well.

Tim Kelly is a young gun offensive mid which is the exact kind of player we have wanted for our list for a while.

It may well cost us 20 and 22. If you look at our recent drafting history with picks in the 20s we barely hitting 50% strike rate for just a decent player. Of the players that are actually better probably only Shuey and Darling. So maybe 20% chance of being better and 80% of being equal or worse.

Add to that there is no guarantee that the decent player you could pick up is what you need. Do we really need another KPF prospect for example?

Kelly is worth picks 20 and 22. I'd throw in a fourth rounder to sweeten the deal.

We know we are getting a good player now while we are in our premiership window.

Shit article re picks

Hawthorn didnt ask for pick number shitboxetty shit - the afl gave them that.

If they had actually traded him it would be more like pick 1,3 and a player

Not to say the articles premise isnt correct but Fa picks are a poor example

Fremantle’s pick trade this morning almost confirms they have lined up Hogan, providing Melbourne with the picks to trade for May.

I feel like Collingwood has been told that May is going to Melbourne, and as such they’ve made the move for Beams overnight.

20 and 22 to the Bulldogs for pick 7. They are wanting Rhylee west as a F/S. Assuming he goes ~pick 12, they'll need ~pick 19 for points.

7 goes to Geelong with 50 coming back (Values Kelly @ 11), or maybe Geelong's 2019 2nd (~32) coming back (Values Kelly @ 17).

I still think 20+22 for Kelly is overs. We'd be wanting 2019 2nd (~32) back. Values Kelly @ 14

I get what you're saying with FA compo (which I think should be scrapped altogether) but seeing those "grouped together" selections makes the possibility of giving up 20 & 22 for T Kelly more palatable to me.

I get that draft selections are what the club makes of them, and that the article selectively used those examples, but it - and the history of WC round 2 selctions that Miguel Sanchez listed a few pages back-

2007: 20 Notte, 22 Scooter
2008: 20 Swift
2009: 22 Weedon, 23 Stevens
2010: 26 Darling, 29 Lycett
2011: 23 Newman, 28 McInnes
2015: 28 Partington
2017: 21 Ollen, 26 Ryan

- make me want the club to lock up the Kelly trade, get Shep & Gaff back in the line up and have a big crack at one thing our (already very successful) club has not done, B2B.

Interesting from Port. Might look very silly when Freo get pick 5 from Brisbane for Neale and trade it to the crows for pick 8 and 21, allowing crows to jump over port for the SA boys.

Freo ending up with 8, 11, 21, 23, 30 for Neale and pick 6 would be very good

Geeeeee I hope this happens. Will be great

If West goes after pick 7 then the Dogs get to use pick 7 and then use later picks to match the bid for West.

Picks 27 and 45 give them enough to match a bit around 12/13. I don't think West is rated that highly.
