That's pretty pathetic. There was no noise about making Richmond stronger by the other clubs.

Why are Geelong so focused on helping the Pies and Tigers?

Shafted North with Gaff, got on the phone to his brother to block us on this one.

They are talking absolute crap on Trade radio.

Kelly shouldn't be allowed to say he will only go to West Coast because he is homesick. Yet all these Victorians have gone home and nominated the club, none have entertained any other offers, what hypocrisy. Keep crapping on that because he was thrown a lifeline by Geelong, how, we were intending to take him with our next pick, Geelong just swooped in as they have done before. Every club would have picked him at some stage in last draft, what bul...

“Hi guys, how did you go getting me closer to my family?”
“Sorry Tim, we were just desperate to not make the reigning premiers stronger. Your kids will understand.”

Well played Geelong, great look.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how long it would take to mail just your standard sized bag to rural Victoria?

I can't wait to next year when we go back to back and Geelong finish outside the 8 and they'll have to accept pick #40 for him

Freo will be stronger next year (9th/10th) so they'll only have picks #9 and #27 and doubt they would trade #9

Yeah I'm really fascinated as to how this "you shouldn't be able to nominate which club you go to" applies to nominating 1 out of a choice of 2 options, but they don't seem to have any problem with players like Lynch and Shiel hand-picking where they'll go out of 10 options in Victoria.

Make a fair offer and if Geelong don't take it, tell them to go pound sand. They can enjoy not winning in 2019 and then watching Kelly walk for a fraction of what they would have gotten this trade period.

Jon Ralph Retweeted SuperFooty (AFL)

"They have been on the receiving end of deals on compassionate grounds with Scott Selwood, Gary Rohan, Patrick Dangerfield and Gary Ablett in the last few years." Tim Kelly and his manager are pleading for a release, admitting the no-Freo clause might keep him at the club in '19

You'd think Tim Kelly was the first AFL player to nominate a destination. Some of the carry on has been ridiculous.

Excited about going to the draft, some great talent will be available at our picks
2 of sparrow, valente, duursma, bytel, smith, ohallorahan or stack provided clarke is gone
Cameron woth pick 61

Make sure we use the rookie draft wisely getting kpd backups such as hugh goddard or jordan butts
Louis Miller or luke meadows as hbfer backups
Zac clarke as an extra ruck option

“Daddy, why can’t you just live at home with us?”
“Well you see, son, competitive parity is paramount to a successful and sustainable sporting league.”
“Thanks Daddy, I understand - it simply wouldn’t be right to the 17 other organisations within the great Australian Football League if a good team attempted to get better. Bring me back something from the airport.”

Literally said that and then were fine with Beams going back to Collingwood because it's a 'feel good' story... Both times Beams leaving he was under contract! he literally told them at the BnF on stage he was staying at Brisbane!

If I was Tim Kelly I would definitely now be telling Geelong to shove it for next year.

I would be saying EBOD Geelong, I'm outta here, heading back to home, so instead of getting nothing next year, you get nothing now!!! enjoy the bag w***ers
