I’ll bet he hasn’t missed 10 weeks after getting injections to help get over groin soreness thoughNah, Buddy's holding that spot down for another few years

JORDAN Murdoch may have been delisted by Geelong.
But the 26-year-old has become the centre of a bidding race, with two clubs reportedly interested in the midfielder.
The Gold Coast Suns are the front runners for Murdoch, who is set to undergo a medical with the franchise club.
But the Saints have emerged as a candidate for the 108-game player, who struggled to cement his spot in a side brimming with the likes of Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood, Gary Ablett, Tim Kelly and Scott Selwood.
Just quietly, I wouldn't want to be on the end of one his tackles if I was one of his ex-team mates.Good luck to Murdoch as it seems he will end up at a new home - news seemed a little quiet on him during the trade period

TO be honest I am surprised that you guys have delisted Menzel as while I understand he is not great defensively I always, as an opposition supporter, saw Menzel as a threat that needed attention put into him by Longmire to curb him. There are not a lot of players in each team that opposition teams actively try and curtail but I feel Menzel was one of Geelong's.
I hope the Swans get him and for the love of whatever god there is I hope Longmire doesn't try and turn him into a midfielder like he has Papley, Ronke and Hayward.
Gee his groins and knees would be cactus playing through the midfield. They are bad enough playing in the forward line and not bothering to chase.TO be honest I am surprised that you guys have delisted Menzel as while I understand he is not great defensively I always, as an opposition supporter, saw Menzel as a threat that needed attention put into him by Longmire to curb him. By all means take him. You'll have 2 of the most selfish footballers in the league in the one forward line. Should work well.TO be honest I am surprised that you guys have delisted Menzel as while I understand he is not great defensively I always, as an opposition supporter, saw Menzel as a threat that needed attention put into him by Longmire to curb him. The most selfish footballer I've seen in a while. That is a massive misconception as Buddy is actually really unselfish. The amount of times he gives the ball off to players in better positions is actually quite high. He is rated as "elite" with goal assists, score involvements and he is also rated elite for inside 50's. I think the misconception comes from the fact that Buddy struts around the ground, which gives a negative impression, but in reality he is a very unselfish footballer.

Absolutely not. Johnson only ever once ignored a teammate in a better position to have a pot shot from 60, and that was in his last game. You might not know of him as he is the Swans forward coach, so not a hugely glamorous role, but there is a bloke named Steve Johnson who, while very talented could be a little selfish at times.
St Kilda and GC are the 2 clubs in this bidding war, well FMD they must be desperate. I'm a hater what am i taking?a bidding war for Jordan Murdoch.....what a world we live in
take that haters
The loser gets him.a bidding war for Jordan Murdoch.....what a world we live in

It would also get the ball more often. The afl website described Murdoch as a running machine........ I prefer this one because I think it would be a better decision maker and get caught less with the ball.......

We're building a game plan around Dollshouse and Rohan,FMD.I lurk a lot without commenting. But I was directly answering your question with how we can compete next year.
Of the things I listed, changing our game plan is the most difficult - but it is clear the club are already aiming for that with our trades. We are as much in it as any team next year, imho.
He wasn't so elite in the final against Melbourne when we had all the momentum and he selfishly ignored Murdoch 10 metres out from goal and decided to have shot when he was too close to the man in front. A handball over the top and we were back and full of running with the margin down to 15 points.Menzel is an elite passer I50
No, he wasn't. Doesn't change what I said, though. He wasn't so elite in the final against Melbourne when we had all the momentum and he selfishly ignored Murdoch 10 metres out from goal and decided to have shot when he was too close to the man in front.
