Tony Sheahan reporting Caff has agreed to a one yet deal, will announce in the morning.

Talk about going down to the wire.
So delistings will be Brown, Davis, Dick, McCarthy, Farmer, Stubbs ?

As much as I like Dick, a lovely temperament does not make a great player. I trully think he is too injury prone. I can not trust him to be in our best team ever.

Love the Caff, IMO one of the best overhead marks for his size in the league. Hopefully one year goes to two and stays longer. Will be interesting where Bucks plays him.

Hey guys,

I dont usually put up information unless im 100% confident in my source, so this is as much as i know.

All of our rookies have been released.
Famer and Stubbs have been delisted to be put on the rookie list.
The club wants to rookie list Brad Dick but he is keen to return home to a WA based club.
Brent Macaffer is keen to join Brisbane.
Mccarthy has meetings with Port Adelaide, Richmond and Essendon within the next few days.

I love Brad. Dual sided, quick, lots of defensive pressure but his body is just not up to AFL footy, unfortunately.

A couple of unlucky ACL, but it's more his shoulders. He has some real issues there the poor bloke. Much like Rusling, showed much promise in his few games but we'll never know what we could have gotten.

Great stuff by Caff. Sign a 1 year deal backing yourself in to prove yourself and earn a new contract. Maybe a deal like, play 15 games of AFL in 2012 and you'll get $xxx,xxx for your next contract.

His been on the list 2 years, I would of assumed an international rookie would get a minimum of 3 years

Good in theory but rarely happens in practice.

Unfortunate but thats the way things go. Soemtimes you lose players for nothing....not that your proposed trade was of much value anyway. Picking up a few spots in the 60's isnt of any significance.

Agree hes not a terrible player, its just that hes a victim of being at a strong club.
