On Seven news saying he was keen to continue coaching and would take over if asked.

Does he forget his time at Carlton. Amazing how a bloke can be oblivious to the fact that he is seen as overrated by the list that he had at the Kangaroos.

Suprised he said that. Walking out of his U18s team and happy to support mid year sackings shows he must be chomping at the bit.

This guy is senile, old, no game plan, doesn't listen to anyone, all his past players hate him and don't respect him.

Carlton are in a similar phase to us and they sacked him. Fact is he can't relate to younger players.

Young coaches are the way to go.

He also seems to be desperate and almost parasitic. Wallace may well be on his way, but he could at least wait for Richmond to make a move before going public. Embarrassing really.

Only the Carlton ones, it's not Pagans fault the club was inept and he had no talent to work with.

don't do it
he never developed a thing for us
find the right man- new or old
be patient
don't go a quick fix that will not deliver

It's highly unlikely that Richmond will take on Pagan as head coach, and it was totally inappropriate of him to come out and say he was available as caretaker at this point in time.

But let's get one thing straight, the guy had a very good reputation before he went over to your rabble of a club!

cough, cough, splutter!!!.....sorry, that quote seems ridiculous coming from where Tigers have been the last 12 years, especially Now.

It was mostly Pagan's fault. Read Kouta's book. It was pretty dark. He knows more than you about it. If he was half-decent we, or any other side, would never have gone that bad, list or not.

Besides, I wouldn't be the one talking inept.

Anyway, seeing you think Pagan's ok, would you want him coaching your club?

All Kouta's book told us was that the players were used to running the show at Carlton and couldn't handle being told what to do.

Funnily enough, all the sooking about the coach came from the old guard ie. Kouta, Whitnall, Lappin etc. The younger guys like Fev, Murphy, Carozzo, Simpson seemed to thrive under Pagan.

imo the older guard, including Kouta (who was the worst captain in Carltons history) should shoulder as much blame for the poor results as Pagan did.

As for your question, I am on record for many years of not rating Laidley, I would take almost any coach over him atm.

Dennis was set-up yesterday, the media have cast the die and now need to fill a dailly double page spread on the Wallace sacking.

This will include the usual irrelevant training arrival photo, some pathetic twist of statistics to support their case, a human touch article on some poor old coach that has been through this before and then usual selective diatribe from tallback or letters to the editors. Its a train wreck and everybody will want to feed of the carcass.

Now is the time to close rank, support and show leadership by the RFC? RFC.

Howabout we get a bunch of Suppoters down to training this week and show some support to the team. No negatives real support, like those crowds at training when Coz turned up.

:)

Instead of collecting money for alcoholic jaywalkers, why not pool some cash so we can organize a professional hit - on the off-chance Pagan even contemplates sniffing around Punt Road
