Dennis Pagan keen to take on caretaker role

He's a fool.

His interview reminded me of a sex offender watching the audience of a wiggles concert.

Very classy denis....very classy.

Spot on ata40, I'll bet they camped out on his doorstep, and someone asked "Would you like to coach at AFL level again?" and what is he going to say? No? Unlikely.

The funniest part is Caro complaining about it later, when she knows that this is how she constructs about 90% of her articles in the first place.

Howabout we get a bunch of Suppoters down to training this week and show some support to the team. No negatives real support, like those crowds at training when Coz turned up.

:)
At first this seemed like an intelligent comment but then i thought about it.

**** 'em - let them swim in a sea of their own faeces, the insipid, weak little ****s.

Why should we,AGAIN, go and hold their shaking little hands.

Tell them, simply, TO GROW THE **** UP!,****en cowards.

Weak bastards.

Dennis was set-up yesterday, the media have cast the die and now need to fill a dailly double page spread on the Wallace sacking.

This will include the usual irrelevant training arrival photo, some pathetic twist of statistics to support their case, a human touch article on some poor old coach that has been through this before and then usual selective diatribe from tallback or letters to the editors. Its a train wreck and everybody will want to feed of the carcass.

Now is the time to close rank, support and show leadership by the RFC? RFC.

100% Spot on.

Dennis has been around long enough to know when he is being set up and acted foolishly by answering their inappropriate questions (for which I have heard was in reference to Fremantle....not Richmond).

The media are like sharks in bloodied water. And someone is always in the gun. Wallace was yesterday's news going into last weekend....they'd fed off him after the Doggies loss and everyone including the media assumed you'd beat Melbourne.

You could see the media circling Mick Malthouse as the next public lynching. The lead up to the weekend was creating a controversy around Buckley/Malthouse and the coaching position.

Collingwood winning and you guys losing completely screwed up the back pages and the inuendo all the major publications had ready for the weekend. Collingwood losing to Brisbane would have had the Pies at 1-3 with an uncontracted coach.....with the same record as Terry Wallace (after you were suppose to beat Melbourne). Mick was about to go to the stake covered in gasoline.

They are a sick and cowardly bunch the media.....if you could actually manage to close rank and unite down at Punt Road you could perhaps stop feeding these sick freaks stories.

Denis Pagan apologises to Wallace
AAP | April 21, 2009 02:16pm

DENIS Pagan has denied he is trying to snare the Richmond job from embattled Tigers coach Terry Wallace.
Following Richmond's fourth straight loss - to last year's wooden spooners Melbourne on Sunday - speculation Wallace would be sacked was rampant.

But Pagan, who took North Melbourne to two flags, said his comments were badly timed and he had apologised to Wallace.

"I don't ring anybody up and say, 'I want to coach'. People ask me," Pagan told SEN.

"In retrospect, I can see how it's portrayed and it wasn't timely for the Richmond football club and Terry, and I've apologised to him and that's life.

just a media beat up as suspected.
