Copying my own tweets; haha;

mattys123: HIne makes the point that despite Collingwood losing plenty of experience, we aren't losing too many "games played in 2013" #GoPies #AFL

mattys123: Collingwood has made it's offer to Daisy and his management, sounds like our final offer, will wait and see now, might match FA offer #AFL

Nathan Brown has agreed to a 3 year deal, and Beams and him are 120% secure at the club, not in trade talks no matter what anyone says.

@traderadio: Hine confirms the Pies are one of many clubs to interview Taylor Adams. "We've certainly got a strong interest".

We spoke to Jesse White today, we want him.

Strong interest in Taylor Adams, impressed with Jesse Whites second half of season. Confirmed that they had talked with him today

  • Thomas:
    • Nothing to add at this point. What has been reported is where they are at.
    • Dale looking at options. Carlton have shown the strongest interest.
    • A bit of "Cat & Mouse" at the moment when asked if Collingwood match Carlton offer. Collingwood waiting to see how it all plays out to see if they will match offer.
    • Doesn't know what we will receive as compensation if Thomas goes.
  • Shaw:
    • A few clubs interested. Melbourne and GWS were mentioned.
    • Well documented in the media.
  • On experience being let go:
    • Happy with depth players brought in this year.
    • Mindful of age profile of list.
  • On how we went on last year's trade & FA period:
    • Hopeful on Young going forward.
    • Lynch was recruited as a "needs player".
    • Doesn't think there was any net loss.
  • Nathan Brown:
    • Has agreed to 3 year deal. Won't be going anywhere in trade period.
  • Beams
    • Will be staying at least until end of 2015.
  • Taylor Adams:
    • Sounds like we are very keen.
  • Jesse White:
    • Spoke to him today.
    • We are happy with his performances in the 2nd half of the season.
    • No commitment from either party yet.
    • Not being recruited to help send Reid back necessarily. Idea is to add flexibility to team, perhaps allow for Keefe to go forwards sometimes.
  • Draft:
    • Thinks draft is a bit light on this year. Therefore, we are more likely to use our later draft picks in the trade period this year. He would like to hold on to earlier draft picks. More than happy to use the later draft picks during the trade period.
    • He believes the 2015 draft will be very strong.

Says that this years draft isn't as strong as next years but we want to hang on to our first draft pick, and any compo pick we get for Thomas. Mentioned Adams in the same comment though, only player we will trade a first rounder for.

No mention of possible upgrading to pick 1 or 2? Maybe it's a bridge too far.

Beams not swan, swan is contracted until end of 2014 beams end of 2015...

Beams hates buckley, thank heath shaw for that

Either that, or he doesn't want to show his hand just yet...

If Melb are entertaining the thought of Shaw + pick 10 for pick 2, i think its fair to assume that we could get pick 1 with a fringe player included as GWS are interested in Shaw too.

I think Boyd should be our priority target, followed by Adams. Will depend on what Daisy does if we can get Boyd and Adams though.

Pick 10, Shaw + fringe player for Boyd
or Pick 10, Shaw + Daisy compo for Boyd and Adams
3rd round pick for White or Karnezis
