Aside from what happened in the derby, that was by far the worst held interview I've ever heard. Howard could have talked about/unearthed a new angle on the whole debate, but instead started an argument.

No doubt if Headland had said something about Selwoods daughter (I don't know if he has one) the opinions on this issue woud be 100% reversed.

Des Snr came across very well in that interview. I have met the guy a few times and that was the most restrained he will ever be if someone abused his family.

Why would they? What a waste of resources by chasing someone who said something on a footy field when there are real cases they could he helping.

As long as the West Coast Eagles keep winning anything is acceptable. They have a huge talent pool & the on field results are reflecting that. The West Coast Eagles players would be feeling bulletproof at the moment. They are almost untouchable in WA & what is reported in the Eastern states would be considered irrelevant. Ben Cousins' fall from grace was just a minor glitch on the way to what should be back-to-back premierships. Rest assured, though, if things start to turn against them on the field we are going to see some almighty falls, the likes of which we have not seen before in the history of our game.

For a guy thats not a lawyer. And we can perhaps predict he's not a doctor or a professional public speaker. I think he spoke extremely well. Howard was doing his utmost to trick him into condoning Des' actions, but he didn't get sucked into that argument.

I don't have children, but i would be furious if someone talked about youngsters that way. Its plain disgusting.
