I would've thought Henry is worth more than Robertson is.
Possibly, will be interesting between Stephens, Robertson and Henry given all taken (basically in the same round) in the same draft. Henry was underwhelming prior to 8 weeks ago, Robertson has been loved by Brisbane supporters (from what I've seen anyway) but struggled to lock down a spot and Stephens while probably the least performed of the lot, was the highest draft pick which often still matters a bit this close to their draft.

Future 2nd with a Future 3rd coming back seems about right if the Lions want points for next year. Pick 35 also seems right, though it's not the deepest draft.
He seems a good prospect, one the Lions would not really want to part with, but losing young fringe 22 players is the price you pay for being good.

Future 2nd next year could potentially be pick 19, 20, 21. That's not happening with an out of contract fringe player.

I am noticing that a number of Brisbane posters seem to rate him which is fair enough, but it's clear that inside the Lions they haven't rated him to the same degree and that will matter when it comes to negotiations.

Could also be 26, 27 or 28 maybe even later. Given West Coasts year this year and they should get some players back available next season. I don't think they finish last.

I rate him. I feel like he could be that Jack Crisp type of player we let go and goes on to being more then a solid citizen. I hope we keep him. Especially if we only let him go for a 3rd or points for Levi.

I would be happy if we took him for around pick 27. Unfortunately we don't have pick 27, and pick 20 will be too much. I think we offer Ports 2nd and it gets done, if he wants to move.

As a neutral with no skin in the game I think an early future second is pretty fair for Dev. Was a slider in his draft year and would be playing more regularly if he was at another club.

Pick 20 will end up being something like pick 25 or so. Lions 2nd rounder (tied to cats) will probably be around a mid 30’s pick. Thinking something like Dev and Lions second rounder for WCE’s 2nd, and random future 3rd and 4th rounders from either side thrown in to confuse everyone

I reckon we will keep 19, give you 35ish and maybe a F4 for points next year.

I'm not saying that is exacly what he is worth, but it is getting close enough, and he isn't contracted. End of the day we can walk him to the PSD, no chance North pick him up. I hope we don't do that however. Its not right for one, but its also bad business. Nature of the beast though is that possibility looms.

Every chance he stays though too. Brisbane are good club and right now a flag threat for the foreseeable future.

You realize 2nd round picks will be pushed back 5 or 6 spots due to matchings and free agent compos. Not much point saying you have pick 19

I'm already taking that into account. Pick 19 of the players actually freely available to be drafted is still overs considering he is not contracted.

He is an 20-24 player on our depth chart in an experienced top 2 team. So likely 8-14 in a bottom 2 team with plenty of development ahead.

Do the magic beans of a pick in the low to mid 20s guarantee you better? Maybe, most likely not. People massively overrate draft picks.

I'm not denying his actual or potential worth. Just thinking West Coast may be in the mood to extract max value out of the trade considering where we are at and the fact that he is ooc.

I was responding to your comment that we don't rate him. He wouldn't be playing if we didn't rate him. We have quite a bit of depth playing well in the VFL. So fact that he is making the squad in a top 2 side shows you how much we do rate him.

Well I wasn't meaning he was considered a spud - but it seems injuries have paved the way for him to get game time so he's not exactly best 18, which makes sense considering you are currently a top 4/2 side.

Eagles finish bottom 2 next year.

Which team will be worse?
