Where does the bigfooty world see Monash finishing now after rounds 1-2. Still in the bottom few as from earlyer predictions

I don't think Monash will be too far off the pace. This week will be a big challenge up against BT, so we will see where they really stand. I rate the Turtles as the second best side and to be 5-6 goals behind them(out there on the biggest ground getting around), puts them in the mix.
I'll say BT and Eltham are almost certain for finals barring something bad happening. Therry, Monash, Prahran, Parade and SMS have a real shot at making finals. The bottom 3 are outside chances if they can improve.
Anyone having a stab at who will get the 3rd and 4th spot is kidding themselves as I think all those sides are quite even and not that far behind Eltham.
Would i be right in saying you are a Monash supporter? as your posts have followed the same path as the Gryphs over the past 3 seasons..
I agree we should be around the mark, and this week will be a big test, but also a good indicator of where we are at. Hopefully get a few back from injury this week and we can put our best side out there.

Winners last week. Smacked by BT round 1. New to the club and to this comp. What I do know is that it is very hard to make any assumptions until after each club has played each other once - and even then footy has a funny way of keeping everyone guessing.

BT look far above everyone thus far this season. I can't see many sides matching it with them this season. As for who was best on, as a spectator Bulleen's best player were numbers 7, 33, 36, although Bulleen look very strong across the board.
Bigfooty posters Im sure you, like me, are very concerned, PA have had a win and numeral ned has gone missing. I have notified police already and they are out searching as we speak. Thankfully they had a work experience kid coming in 2 afternoons a week who they have intrusted with the job between photcopying of course. I'm worried that maybe he has got mixed up in the bikie wars, or been involved in a freak table tennis accident and lapsing into a coma. These are the only plausable excuses for him not to be mouthing away. Where are you Numeral!....Numeral!

BT had another monster win - bullying the lesser likes of the competition again....really looking forward to when they get a test later in the year when other sides get some continuity into their players and some consistency with performance. Very long season BT boys, dont get carried away, even though I know you are...
Eltham did what most thought they would, comfortably accounting for a lack luster gryphons unit.
PA are back in town after a dissapointing round 1 defeat. My guess after seeing them a couple of times is that they may take some time to get the engine pumping. Im predicting list management crucial for their chances, but wont suprise me if they are at full steam come late august...
La Trobe v SM - who cares....cellar dwellers
Good to see Parade boucne back also after a flat round 1 performance...
May hold off on my greatly anticipated tips till later in the week after observing some training sessions....in particular BT, as I believe their training consists of everyone just patting each other on the back....

Guru, I'm incredibly touched by your concern over my welfare. Fear not, I have surfaced this morning, and while I'm nursing a few battle wounds and recent unemployment from the past 3 days, I'm in relatively good shape.
I'm sure most of you have put two & two together and worked out that PA's resounding victory on the weekend is the reason behind my absence. We hit the soup shortly after the final siren on Saturday and saw the bottom of my last can this morning at about 3:30 this morning outside Princes Pool Hall on Dandy Road.
Can't see anyone brining down the PA train now we've left the station, gaining momentum faster then the Australian Dollar.
Get around us.

WhoamI, HBP was not correcting your punctuation or grammar, rather reminding the forum that included under this "lesser" umbrella you have created lie, PA and SMS. While SMS are certainly an inferior side (they are plain woeful), PA are not and surely couldn't be regarded as a "lesser" side by anyone in the VAFA community. He or she were essentially jumping to the defence of BT.

Ha clever. Don't think I've seen bt cop such a pasting on here. Gettin a bit monotonous after so many floggings in the last couple of seasons,i can guarantee that theyll be happy just to have a couple of wins.morale got to an all time low last year.lookin forward to the boys playing eltham. Will be a good test imo. It is a long season and will be keen to see how the young bodies hold up in the cold winter months.

Eltham will battle to fire a shot off away from your bog of a paddock. It's a blight on the competition that we are forced to travel to the end of the earth to play a mediocre side in Eltham.
Anyhow, given that there Eltham have sourced some decent players away from clubs that are allowed to pay players, I'm sure it won't be long until the VAFA launches an investigation, bringing the Turtles to their knee's.
Questions do need to be asked......what about the belters that work behind the bar at the home of the turtle?
