Was also at the Friars YV game. Friars were clearly the better conditioned side, also think the ground size was a huge factor, YV had enough of it but put it on a platter for WF halfbacks trying to go I50. Well done to the Friars, and to UHS on the promotion.

Bad kicking is bad football, and in the first quarter we could have put some serious scoreboard pressure on. But we didn't and the rest is history. Even in the last quarter when we got back to within 10 points, there was a sense that an "upset" could have been on the cards, but ultimately UHS managed to do enough to hold on and deserve their spot in the GF. There were signs that we were getting back to some of our best though, and this week should be a beauty against Whitefriars.
Unsure if Boundy returns, but either way we will make a pretty good account of ourselves and can't wait to see it.

Guess we will have to wait till next year to see this highly rated YV everyone kept talking up, cos I never saw it this year. They might have to raid some more reserves teams to boost them for next year.

Anyway great to see the PF being played at a nice close venue for both teams this weekend, might at least avoid the canteen having to shut before half time like Sunday!
