Very interesting round! Big games for the clubs 4-10 on the ladder
If Powerhouse play like they did against GE they will beat Albert Park
GE will get the inconsistent Canterbury Erwin Ross due for a bag
Hawthorn hard to beat at home, will get Elsternwick if Oldfield, Hunter and S Grace are absent. A couple freshened up hawks will help them pull away.
La Trobe will run Parkside off their feet. Parkside have had a solid last 3 matches, the news of 3 relegated to D4 will take away some of their fight
South Melb to beat Aquinas- especially if the 3 goals in 3 weeks Aquinas turn up.
UHS VU vs Swinburne is the match of the round IMO- Swinny should get the chocolates if they bring their form against the hawks

There is not a single argument to be made the reinforces that the VAFA made the correct decision by allowing this merged side to compete in division 3.
The committee at Monash destroyed what I've lead to believe was a fantastic club, and they've been rewarded by being gifted a free wack at a flag.

There won't be a single neutral supporter cheering them on this year and I'm tipping the flag will be tasteless.

How can the committee at Monash be rewarded when the club that is playing in D3 is Glen Eira? Not sure of your logic there fella.

Oh in case you were wandering, every flag has a sweet sweet taste to it.

zzzzz.

Don't bother responding- he is just a bloke who left Monash for greener pastures in Canterbury...

The only one rubbing their hands with glee would be that president of GE, '' Delacky '' , on the other end of the scale, how would the boys from Aquinas go trying to motivate themselves for the rest of the season knowing that they be in Div 4 next season.

Good on Ivan Delac for the great job he has done. He should be rightfully rubbing his hands with glee. GE is probably one of the best run clubs in the VAFA with great facilities. Oh by the way you naysayers should grow up we are the GLEN EIRA SAINTS. Worry about your own clubs instead of regurgitating your boring crap. Welcome Canterbury Saturday.

Well said, Phantom.

Looking forward to the Ivan Delac and GE hospitality this weekend as we come and try to take the 4 points.

Is the finals layout confirmed as the same as from previous years?
no It seems to be different. Pos 1 and 2 will get the first week off then play the winners of 3v6 and 4v5 in Prelims.

Saw GE v Canterbury on Saturday. Scoreboard flattered GE with Canterbury taking it up to them. Div 3 always brings up some surprising results come finals time, I think Canterbury could do some damage. Interested to see how La Trobe's easy run into the finals shapes up, they last played Hawthorn in round 1 and GE in round 4 and dont play them again. Not sure if thats a good or a bad thing.

Thanks for the answer. Finishing 4th and 5th looks important in that case to avoid the top 3, for a week at least.

Just had a look a look at the same thing (La Trobes draw), disappointed to see they don't play GE or the Hawks again.
