4/6 last week

Round 6
Albert Park to beat Aquinas
Glen Eira to beat Canterbury
UHS-VU to beat Wickers
Hawks to beat South
La Trobe to beat Parkside
House to beat Swinny

What has happened to Aquinas and Swinburne this year? This comp is super tight that's for sure. Parkside slightly undermanned at the minute. Hawthorn all the rage with their fire power, Glen Eira the perfect start also. the rest have all shown glimpses.

Albert Park vs Aquinas a toss of the coin depending which Bloods team show up
Glen Eira will get over Canterbury who have had two narrow wins against the odds
UHS can beat Elsternwick if Hunter is controlled
Latrobe too strong for an early relegation favorite in Parkside
Hawthorn too many options for South- a tad closer than most think
Swinny and Powerhouse, their form lines are hard to read, THe uni lads to click and win by 5-6 goals

I was under the impression that Sportsbet's finest still played though?

Was that an attempt to call out someone's identity? Unsuccessful as it may have been, we need to respect a users right to remain anonymous on these forums.

]Glen Gryphons Should be too strong for Cobras
Elsternwick New players, will finish with a wet sail.
Albert Park Have to weather a long season. Not in the 4.
LaTrobe. Surprising all and will feature in finals.
Hawthorn. Early season favorites. Should go on. About time too.
Power House Enigma[/QUOTE]

Another interesting round.
Its clear Hawks and Saints are a step above everyone else.
Canterbury have probably come back to the pack a little, and besides Parkside and maybe now Elsternwick you could throw a blanket over the rest.

I agree, I think Canterbury have a few out still? there's certainly a clear divide in quality though.
Aquinas are still difficult to read, they've definitely shown potential in the past. Trobers could also continue to lift.

Few more weeks and i think we'll have a good view as majority of sides will have played each other.

Finkle is Einhorn......Einhorn is Finkle - sounds like Banterbury and Snorlax might be the same bloke to me hahaha

Unfortunately not coachnoodles though we (Snorlax and I) are from the same club. This is of course based on the assumption that Snorlax is who he says he is and was "turning 6s into 7s" working the scoreboard at the snake pit on the weekend, in which case he has effectively named himself.

Back to the footy - Solid win by GE in a tight physical game, I think they certainly are beatable but their depth is a bigger concern (to the comp) than their top-end talent. Looking at the ressies game I think they could loose 4-5 players from the weekend before there was any real drop in standard.

Now for the biggest challenge in D3... Hawthorn at Rathmines. I'm going to back us in for an upset this week ;). Our big boys up forward to provide some headaches.

I like your optimism, you never know.
I'd be concerned about their big boys up forward more so though!
