Almost 13 weeks since the Elsternwick-Hawthorn incident and still no decision ...

Poor form from HQ. Maybe they think that the shenanigans going on between the board members will distract us from the more important things and they can let it drift for a few more months .

The first incident or the second incident?

Agree, it's terribly poor from HQ that these matters are still outstanding.

Canteen wouldn't serve the players hot food before the game, players fed up with it. Apparently Lyndale has world class chips
Also heard that the journalist from their team was sacrificing his team strategies for inside scoops from other teams. Pretty sad situation for a once proud club. Hope to hear their roar again this year

A coach I spoke to said he gave that same journalist his number in confidence, mid way through the season was getting you up texts at 3am. Coach said he wouldn't have cared if it was for a bit a fun but he was asking for the team lists.

Unfortunately that's media nowadays. Calling at awful times to catch them off guard. Have to admire his work ethic though, if the rest of the VAFA hustled like he did we may not have lost D4. Just unfortunate that this has blown back on Masala now

Well said BL hopefully next year they can get 2 teams on the paddock and some better chips in the tuckshop

Is this that Bolch bloke who writes articles for the vafa? His articulation and knowledge of football is incredibly bad, safe to say Masala will struggle to put up 2 sides next year. I think this whole exclusive “ cultural club “ experiment is actually pushing people away from there club rather than pulling them in, most teams in Dandenong have great culture and are far more multicultural without trying to over do it like Masala have.

In Bolch's defense I'm pretty sure the write ups for most of the divisional games are just all he scores cards written into an article format. How can one guy be at all the games which are played at the same time.

Could ask clubs for an accurate summary of the game rather than just reading the online scores which often aren’t entered correctly, a lot of the quarter margins are garbage.

Every year I was involved at club level the scribe would reach out. I assume they reached out to all clubs. Very few, mine included, would send in any type of match report.
If you went and asked your club, it would be the same.

Best to my knowledge there was minimal contact during the season. Saying this the scribes role is a volunteer one agd it’s better than nothing what was published.

Yeah on second thought Bolsch isn't that bad. Just a man with his pen against the world. Looking forward to his write ups this year. Glad to see someone taking our community division 3 game seriously and broadcasting it to the world. Keep it up Bill

Yep, I've heard the same! One of my brother's mate's sister is a roommate of one of their premiership players last year. Apparently he's not returning this year - said that he was sick of winning and wanted a bit more of a challenge. With their entire squad experiencing glory last year, it isn't far fetched for players to move to other clubs to try and turn their ships around. Hopefully it makes for a bit more of a competitive division this year. We may have seen the last of the North Brunswick Bullies?

If it is goodbye to the bullies, it was great to see the north brunswick sniper squad giving the comp lead all year. hope the young fellas find a good home elsewhere and continue on with their success

With the expansion to their division, I doubt their usual victims will have much a chance to fight back. Only seeing them once or twice a season will make for a very different story, and unfortunately means Bolsch won't see much of them either. Will be hard to get accurate reporting on their antics

As a neutral supporter im interested to see how it unfolds for all involved
