Manningham having to play the top 3 sides on the run home is definitely going to test them, you'd think Box Hill, Westbourne, Point Cook will have to win practically every remaining game to try and bump them off fourth (possibly dropping one and still making it). The opening is definitely there, but a few surprise wins from Manningham could shut the door.

I've had a crack:

48 Hawthorn W W W W W W 72
44 West Bruns W L W W W L 60
28 Manningham L W W W W W 48
36 Canterbury W W L L L W 48
20 Westbourne W W L W W W 40
20 BHN W L W L L W 32
20 Point Cook L W L L W L 28

Too many early season close losses will hurt Westbourne I'm afraid, coming home with a wet sail. Might help their 2's as a consolation.

Can't see the Hawks dropping one, Premiers & Champions in the bag surely? Others playing for promotion.

Manningham finishing well, Canterbury and West Bruns safely in 4.

Red Ross, you have us dropping 3 of 6, when we've only lost 3 all year. 2 narrowly to west bruns. Of course every week's a challenge, no easy games, however thought we'd be a lock for 3rd...you're a manningham man perchance?

I don't have the guts to do the ladder predictor. The top 4 will be as follows.......

Hawthorn
West Brunswick
Canterbury
Manningham/Westbourne

Everyone else can go to sleep until 2015

Who is the pick for the B&F for the league and each club at this stage?

Fair point Hansie, upon reflection probably a tad harsh as looking back your results are basically on a par with West B.

Happy to be proved wrong, but no offence meant just having a stab.

In reality barring a miracle it would appear that the top 4 (top 2, bottom 2) are set.

Maximum Westbourne/BHN/PC can get is 44, so 1 win West B, 3 wins Cant, and 4 wins Manningham should lock them out.

Good luck to all

Chadstone to win in the twos? Big call!

Credit where its due.

Hopefully chaddy have it out of their system for next week!

What happened with that game?! Are Westbourne ressies limping to the end of the season? The competition for the last two spots in the finals for the reserves is really heating up. Manningham, Box Hill North, Canterbury, Westbourne and maybe even North Brunswick vying for 2 spots.

2's ladder and run home

3 Westbourne 28 124% NB, Haw, Drag, Cant, PC
4 Canterbury 28 79% Drag, Mann, Haw, Westbourne, NB
5 BHN 28 74% Mann, NB, WB, Haw, Chad
6 Manningham 26 81% BHN, Cant, PC, Drag, WB

Will be exciting for all. I would think Westbourne will hang on, next two Massive for Manningham, if can win both of them, then 4th is theirs to lose. BHN tough with both WB and Hawthorn.

Much closer round in the 1's, thoughts on Hawks (would have to be their closest match of year)? Off day, or Manningham big improvers? I think a bit of both, Manningham been quiet achievers this year.

Good luck to all

Good to see the 2's ladder hotting up! Some massive games in the run home to shape the finals!

Manningham definite improvers in the seniors. Played 3.5 really good quarters of footy. They match up well against us and they play the small ground well.

Manningham 10 goals
Hawthorn 40 points

WG probably the only outsider with a chance at finals
will need a big win to boost their %
also would need Manningham to lose their games to Canterbury and West Brunswick
and upset maybe Centerbury on top of that.

A tough ask but possible

With finalists now locked in I think it's time to start nominating League B&F candidates and League Team candidates.

Wolfgramm is my pick
hes a clear standout player in a team thats won alot of games, i think he'll take it out this year
